Instead of seeing Laura at the entrance, Cole saw a scar-faced man standing there with his face illuminated by the moonlight.
"Guard leader," he muttered.
"I finally found you bastard kids," the guard leader said with his eyes locked on Cole.
"You really cost me some energy."
Cole's mind was racing at that moment, thinking of what to do or an escape plan, and he heard Bryan's voice in his mind.
"Leave as fast as possible; we will handle him."
Cole turned to bryan in shock; obviously, he doesn't seem convinced by his words.
