The center of the Imperial Palace.
The Tomb of the Star is an empty boundary.
The spirit of Mount Kumano in Kyoto.
Mount Hida.
These are the locations of the four Brahma Realm barriers that Master Tengen set up in Japan.
The four Brahma Realms are interconnected and overlap, forming the only Pure Realm in the world of Jujutsu. The Pure Realm suppressed the power and emergence of Cursed Spirits on a large scale within Japan, optimizing Cursed Energy and preventing it from spreading globally.
This meant the true manager of the Culling Game was Master Tengen.
Kenjaku wasn't the sole arbiter of the Culling Game anymore; Tengen was.
Because Tengen possessed the ability to shut down and destroy the Culling Game colonies at any time by abolishing her own Pure Realm.
However, she had concealed this truth from the students at Jujutsu High, prioritizing her own survival over ending the game.
...
The Mount Hida Brahma Realm was the largest barrier separating western Japan from the East.
Having left the Tomb of the Star, Mirai arrived at the entrance to this place.
The area was surrounded by police cordon tape, and there were several types of ordinary veils and barriers set up inside.
Ignoring all obstacles, Mirai led White Zetsu deep into the spiritual depths of Mount Hida.
At the far end of the Brahma Realm, a corpse draped in a kasaya sat cross-legged in the center. Kenjaku's severed, stitched-up head rested on the floor nearby.
"It's really something that even transporting a body requires President Zetsu's personal intervention," White Zetsu muttered.
Noticing the cold gaze fixed on him from Mirai, Zetsu silently shut up and hoisted Kenjaku's corpse onto his shoulder.
"I'm done here. I'll drop this off and then go have some fun."
Mirai nodded. After that, White Zetsu really couldn't help.
A black notebook fell from the churning Kamui void into Mirai's hand. It was Kenjaku's notebook, detailing the specifics of the Culling Game's rituals.
It had only taken Mirai a year to reach this point.
Currently, Mirai's mastery of barrier techniques was still not comparable to that of legendary masters like Tengen or Kenjaku. But in the past year or so, he had mastered one crucial aspect of Jujutsu: rituals and procedures are connected.
Based on the ten barriers scattered by the Culling Game, ten hidden lines were drawn across the country. Kenjaku had planned to expand and merge these scattered barriers, enveloping the entirety of Japan within them to force the Great Assimilation.
Clank!
Dozens of long iron nails wrapped in Cursed Talismans were pinned to various parts of the Mount Hida barrier by Mirai with a wave of his hand.
After setting up the appropriate rituals, the next step was to add a massive influx of Cursed Energy.
Four Brahma Realms, ten Culling Game Colonies.
Once everything was perfectly arranged by Mirai, this island nation would face an unknown, terrifying fate.
...
News of the deaths of Yuki Tsukumo, Masamichi Yaga, Nanami Kento, and the others had not yet spread.
Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and the others had already stepped into the Culling Game barriers.
Because Zenin Mirai's final known location was Sendai, the group split into teams and headed to the other nine locations to avoid him.
Their two goals were to collect 100 points and to find an incarnated Sorcerer named "Angel," whose innate technique could unseal Gojo Satoru.
Because of the new Rule 10 that Mirai had added (allowing players to enter and exit), dividing into teams was the more efficient approach to scour the colonies.
Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi entered Tokyo Colony 1. Their goal was to find the Player with the highest score there: the newly awakened modern Sorcerer, Hiromi Higuruma.
Panda, Toge Inumaki, and Kinji Hakari entered Tokyo Colony 2. Their goal was to seek out the strongest incarnated Sorcerer there: Hajime Kashimo.
During the Culling Game, the initial Players were divided into two types.
One type was ancient Sorcerers who had incarnated into modern vessels after signing contracts with Kenjaku.
The other type were ordinary humans who remained within the barriers and had their brains altered, awakening to become modern Sorcerers.
Tokyo Colony 2.
The two Sorcerers and the Panda were scattered to various places as soon as they stepped into the barrier.
When Players entered a colony, they were randomly teleported to one of nine different spawn points. This was an unwritten, secret rule of the game.
During the Sendai Colony event, White Zetsu was not separated from Mirai because Zetsu was technically a clone, not a separate Player.
...
A bloodstained, golden staff. A cold, battle-hungry gaze.
A spacious cargo yard near the docks.
Having just brutally killed three Sorcerers, Hajime Kashimo suddenly looked up at the sky.
"Such a powerful surge of Cursed Energy!"
With an excited mutter to himself, Kashimo's bloodthirsty eyes filled with anticipation.
CRASH!
A person arrived like a meteor, crushing and deforming an entire steel shipping container.
Looking down at Kashimo from the dented container, the newcomer grinned and revealed a charming, wicked smile.
"Oh, looks like another girl has fallen for Master Zetsu," White Zetsu Clone No. 2 declared.
While Clone No. 1 was still transporting Kenjaku's corpse, and Mirai was arranging rituals at Mount Hida, Clone No. 2 was naturally looking for some fun inside Tokyo Colony 2.
"Hi!" Kashimo responded with a feral smile, then bent his knees and pounced!
SIZZLE!
Lightning flashed as Kashimo's lightning-fast fist slammed directly into White Zetsu's abdomen!
Zetsu didn't even try to dodge; instead, he simply punched Kashimo in the side of the face!
PFFT!
Two different splashes of blood!
"You're not bad!"
The crimson stain flowing down his cheek made Kashimo's gaze appear even more intense.
The skin on Zetsu's abdomen was charred black from the electricity, and purple blood was faintly seeping out.
But in an instant, Zetsu's wound healed completely, everything returning to normal.
"Little girl, you've got quite a temper!" Zetsu laughed.
Hajime Kashimo, a martial arts fanatic from 400 years ago, and White Zetsu, a Cursed Spirit always looking for fun. Both seemed quite satisfied with each other.
The blood-stained staff whistled as it lashed out fiercely at White Zetsu's side!
The purple lightning crackling on the stick subtly distorted the space around it!
The special constitution of Special Grade Cursed Spirits allowed them to instantly restore their bodies using raw Cursed Energy. And Zetsu's physical body contained a nearly infinite storage of Cursed Energy gathered over 5,000 years.
"Haha, that was so awesome!"
White Zetsu laughed heartily and planted his feet firmly in place!
A punch imbued with immense Cursed Energy slammed squarely into Kashimo's face!
"Come on! Whoever hides is a coward!"
BOOM!!
White Zetsu's feet seemed to be deeply embedded in the ground; even with another bloody hole blasted into his waist by Kashimo's lightning trait, he wasn't sent flying!
On the contrary, Kashimo, who took Zetsu's punch head-on, crashed through several steel containers, kicking up a massive cloud of dust!
Zetsu chuckled and touched the bloody hole in his waist. "It feels tingly and numb..."
"Woman, you're quite capable."
In the blink of an eye, the wound that seemed potentially fatal was completely healed.
BOOM!
The collapsed container was swept aside with a sweep of the long staff. Kashimo, who was covered in crackling lightning, was filled with absolute fighting spirit!
"I am Hajime Kashimo."
"Cursed Spirit, what's your name?!"
"This... old man?"
Zetsu's smile froze, and his tone became quite displeased as he realized Kashimo was biologically male.
"So it's a bottom-tier male character. What a waste of such a cool skill!"
Since Zetsu wasn't technically a Player, he didn't have a Kogane to check his opponent's identity beforehand.
Zetsu, who only recognized Kashimo's true gender at this moment, shook his head speechlessly.
A corpse that has been sculpted into flesh cannot transform into a White Zetsu clone. Since he couldn't harvest Kashimo to make a new clone, there was no need to deliberately preserve the body intact.
"What a waste of that cool lightning outfit," Zetsu sighed helplessly.
Suddenly, a blazing light shone from Zetsu's palm!
"Great Exorcism Cannon!" (Maximum Uzumaki equivalent).
A massive, highly concentrated cannon of Cursed Energy—powerful enough to distort space and burn through the clouds—shot fiercely toward Kashimo!
It was an exaggerated range for a Cursed Technique!
The raging torrent of flames engulfed half the cargo yard, leaving Kashimo with absolutely no room to hide!
Amazed by the sheer amount of Cursed Energy emanating from the Spirit before him, Kashimo held the long staff horizontally in front of his chest. Thunder roared loudly!
BOOM!!!
The scorching heatwave shot straight into the sky, turning most of the freight yard into a burning inferno.
SIZZLE!
The dazzling lightning illuminated the sky!
Kashimo emerged from the sea of fire, parts of his clothes burned away, but a maniacal smile remained on his face!
His opponent could be a human or a Cursed Spirit. As long as he could fight to his heart's content, Kashimo didn't care!
"Not bad, old man! I acknowledge your strength!"
Seeing Kashimo take his attack head-on, White Zetsu seemed to become interested again!
"Hey, it's really hot here!"
"🎵 Turn up the volume! 🎵"
On one side of the burning sea of fire...
A man with his own theme music suddenly barged into their battlefield.
A flame of Cursed Energy, no less powerful than that of White Zetsu's, rose up!
It was Kinji Hakari.
