Just because no one in the penthouse suite was sleeping didn't mean Finn was immediately plunging into a wild, perverted night of debauchery.
Instead, sleep was postponed because it was time for a secret debriefing. Finn had just brought the former ace and the exiled Celestial Mage of Sabertooth directly into his place. To clear up everyone's doubts and make it easier for him, he had to expose everyone's true identities.
To say Minerva and Yukino were at a loss for words would be normal.
Seeing Finn Hoen—the ruthless, untouchable Chief of the Fiore Magic Council—unmask himself as the leader of Heavenly Blue was shocking enough, but realizing that his team consisted of the infamous Oración Seis Angel (Sorano) and the elusive founders of the independent guild Crime Sorcière (Ultear and Meredy) was completely mind-breaking.
Still, with Yukino and Minerva around, did he not ever think of sleeping with them?
Once again, Finn wasn't such a perverted guy, okay?
"Why are you staring at me like that, Flare?" Finn paused, raising an eyebrow at the crimson-haired mage.
"No reason at all, Finn-sama~," Flare smiled gently, radiating an incredibly smug, knowing aura. After all, she was the living proof that Finn was a perverted guy.
Ignoring Flare's silent teasing, Finn detailed exactly what he had experienced earlier that evening. He explained how he had encountered Yukino crying in the alleys, marched straight to the Sabertooth compound, beaten the absolute pulp out of the entire guild, and accepted Minerva's pledge of loyalty after crushing Jiemma.
While Flare, Meredy, and Ultear were momentarily speechless at the sheer scale of his impulsive violence, Sorano simply nodded, her eyes flashing with a terrifying, protective darkness.
"That's good... that's very good..." Sorano murmured, pulling Yukino into a tight, sisterly embrace. If Finn hadn't already handled it, Sorano would have marched over to Sabertooth and assassinated Jiemma herself. She had survived the Tower of Heaven and the brutal ranks of a Dark Guild just to ensure her little sister could live in the light. Anyone who dared to humiliate Yukino deserved zero mercy.
"Now that everything is out in the open, what exactly is your plan?" Ultear asked, crossing her arms.
Ultear didn't mind revealing their identities to Minerva or Yukino. Yukino's loyalty was guaranteed through Sorano. As for Minerva? Ultear actually respected the woman's villainous nature. Someone who swore absolute loyalty to raw power to achieve her ambitions was vastly easier to predict and trust than the idealistic, wildly emotional mages of Fairy Tail.
Rather, Ultear was still highly paranoid that Finn would eventually be swayed by the beautiful, heroic women of that chaotic guild.
"Nothing drastically changes. We simply wait," Finn replied calmly. "If nothing happens, we win the tournament. If something does happen, we can do something about it."
"Hmm?" Minerva and Yukino tilted their heads, clearly out of the loop.
"Let me explain why I disguised myself and formed this guild for the Grand Magic Games in the first place," Finn said, leaning forward.
He smoothly fabricated his "cover story." He explained that the Magic Council had detected a massive, malignant anomaly of dark magic centering around Crocus every year during the tournament. He claimed he had gone undercover to investigate a deep-rooted conspiracy tied directly to the Royal Family of Fiore, needing to bypass the corrupt bureaucracy of the Council to uncover the truth.
"Is there something wrong? Do you have a question?" Finn asked, noticing the incredibly weird expressions on Minerva and Yukino's faces.
"No, it's just..." Minerva hesitated, struggling to find the right words. "Your purpose for infiltrating this event is so... respectable."
Minerva was genuinely awestruck. The Chief of the Magic Council had gone deep undercover, working tirelessly in the shadows, creating an entirely fake identity, all to protect the kingdom from a hidden evil. He was the perfect, shining example of a righteous government official!
This realization deeply conflicted with Minerva's worldview. She knew firsthand how corrupt the Council was. Whenever Sabertooth caused massive collateral damage, Jiemma would simply throw bags of gold at Council bureaucrats to sweep it under the rug. Minerva had always assumed Finn was just the biggest, most corrupt shark in the ocean. Discovering that he was actually a noble, dedicated hero secretly saving the world was a massive shock to her cynical heart.
"Please stop looking at me like I'm a saint. It feels incredibly weird," Finn grimaced, fighting the urge to rub his temples. He hated being viewed as a "good guy."
"So, what do you require of us, Finn-sama?" Minerva asked respectfully.
"If there is anything I can do to help, please let me," Yukino added firmly. Seeing how happy, radiant, and well-cared-for her older sister was, Yukino wanted to repay the man who had given Sorano a true home.
"Well..." Finn outlined his strategy. "For Minerva and Sabertooth: nothing changes on the surface. You will assume the leadership of the guild. Fight in the events as usual, and try to win."
"...I will certainly try," Minerva replied dryly. She knew perfectly well that "winning" was impossible since Heavenly Blue existed. She made a mental note: If we get matched against Heavenly Blue, surrender immediately.
"Meanwhile, for Yukino, I have a mission," Finn said, his tone turning serious.
"Yes?" Yukino straightened her posture, listening intently.
"You probably don't know this yet, but as we speak, high-ranking soldiers from the Fiore Royal Army—specifically the Cherry Blossom Holy Knights—are searching the capital for you."
"Huh?! Why?!" Sorano gasped, immediately pulling Yukino closer. Why was the military targeting her little sister?!
"They aren't trying to arrest her. They are going to attempt to recruit her as a Royal Knight," Finn explained.
"Why me?" Yukino asked, completely baffled. She didn't think she was special enough to warrant royal attention.
"Because you hold the Golden Keys," Finn said. "I want you to let them find you. Accept their invitation. They will likely feed you a grand story about needing your magic to 'save the world.' You can choose to believe them or not, but your true objective is to infiltrate their ranks and figure out exactly what the Kingdom is plotting behind closed doors."
Finn looked her directly in the eyes. "Once you gather the intel and this tournament concludes, you are free to do whatever you want. Will you do this for me?"
"I will," Yukino nodded resolutely. She completely trusted the man who had torn down an entire guild just to avenge her tears. She would infiltrate the Royal Knights and uncover the Crown's secrets for him.
"Excellent," Finn clapped his hands together, standing up and stretching his arms. "Now, the serious talk is officially over. It's time to sleep."
"..."
The atmosphere in the room instantly shifted. The heavy, tactical tension evaporated, replaced immediately by the soft, dangerous heat of four incredibly beautiful women staring at him in the dim light.
Yes, the talking was over. And the long night was finally about to begin.
Only Minerva and Yukino, the two of them, who were put in the other room, were at a loss for a while, yet they didn't sleep, since with the sweet cries of the four women, it was simply impossible.
"Amazing..."
"Yeah..."
Whether it was Yukino or Minerva, they could only squeeze their thighs tight.
