Chapter 343 - The Cowgirl’s Compromise and the Fairy’s Return

"What?! Everyone has returned?!"

Bisca sat up so fast her head spun. The communication lacrima gripped tightly in her trembling hand practically crackled as her husband's frantic voice echoed through it.

"Y-Yes! Everyone is back! Master Makarov, Natsu, Erza, everyone! Where are you?!" Alzack shouted, the background noise behind him a chaotic symphony of tears, cheers, and roaring flames. It was a miracle that they were back, but Alzack was restless. The only thing missing from this perfect reunion was his wife!

"W-Wait a moment! I'll come back right now!" Bisca stuttered, her heart hammering against her ribs. "I-I'm still at work! I need to talk to my boss first!"

"Can't you just leave?!"

"And who is going to pay the debt, Alzack?!"

"..."

A heavy silence fell over the lacrima. Unlike in their youth when Alzack was just a painfully shy boy pining for her from afar, they were married now. They loved each other deeply, but they also fought—usually about money.

"It's fine. Don't worry, I'll be there as soon as I can. Just give me a little bit."

"Hurry up!"

The connection cut.

Bisca lowered the lacrima, her chest heaving as she tried to process the news. But as she knelt there, staring blankly ahead, she realized exactly where she was kneeling.

"It's fine. You can go back."

Finn leaned back in his plush leather chair, his voice surprisingly calm. He hadn't said a single word during the entire phone call. He just watched, utterly bewildered by the fact that Bisca's hand had continued its slow, rhythmic stroking the entire time she was talking to her husband.

How can someone be this effortlessly perverted? Finn thought, completely speechless.

"I am so sorry," Bisca whispered, her cheeks burning a violent shade of crimson.

She knew Finn wasn't even close to being satisfied. He was still massively hard, throbbing with heat against her palm. But hearing that Erza—the woman who had brought her into Fairy Tail—was finally alive and home? Her heart was practically leaping out of her chest.

"Don't worry," Bisca murmured, leaning forward again. "I will make it up to you later. I promise."

When the initial chaos of the reunion settled down, she fully intended to return and finish what she started.

"...Go to your family first," Finn sighed, running a hand through his hair. He was genuinely baffled that she was still trying to comfort him while her long-lost friends had just returned from the dead. But her dedication struck a strange, unexpected chord within him. "Don't worry about me."

Bisca paused. A soft, genuine smile touched her lips. Finn always played the cold, ruthless Devil, but he had a surprisingly gentle side when he dropped the act. She lowered her head one last time. "Just once more. Then I will go."

As the wet, scorching warmth of her mouth completely enveloped him again, Finn could only groan, throwing his head back in a mix of overwhelming comfort and utter helplessness. If just her mouth and hands are this unbelievable... what happens if we actually go all the way?

When she finally pulled back with a soft, wet pop, wiping a glistening trail of saliva from her swollen red lips, Finn offered one last piece of pragmatic advice.

"Make sure you wash up thoroughly before you go," he said, his voice a bit raspy. "Dragon Slayers have incredibly sharp noses. You don't want them smelling me on your breath."

"O-Oh!" Bisca yelped, suddenly realizing the danger, and scrambled out of the office to find a bathroom.

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of Magnolia, the triumphant return of Fairy Tail's core members had violently ground to a halt.

Makarov, Erza, Natsu, and the others stood completely frozen, staring in sheer disbelief at the structure before them. This wasn't the bustling, grand guildhall they remembered. This was a dilapidated, rotting wooden tavern tucked away near the edge of a forest, looking like a strong breeze would blow it over.

"...You are the Fourth Master, Macao?" Makarov asked, his lips twitching violently.

"Y-Yes, Master...!"

Macao tried to stand tall and project authority, but in front of Makarov and the true titans of Fairy Tail, he just looked like a tired, broken old man.

Makarov's harsh gaze softened slightly. He placed a hand on Macao's trembling shoulder. "Thank you for holding on until now. I know it couldn't have been easy waiting seven years for us."

"I-It was nothing!" Macao choked out, tears instantly flooding his eyes.

The entire guild erupted into cheers and tears. The reunion party kicked off immediately. Amidst the chaos of flying tables and spilled beer, the returning members quickly caught up on seven years of missed history.

"You two got married?!"

"You even have a kid?!"

"Oh my gosh, Asuka is so incredibly cute~!"

Erza was stunned into silence. Lucy immediately started blushing furiously, imagining all the wild things Alzack and Bisca must have done together in their absence. Lisanna was happily spinning little Asuka around, cooing at the giggling toddler.

"Yeah... right after the Tenrou incident, I realized life was too short. I proposed," Alzack said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"But where is Bisca?" Erza asked, looking around the crowded tavern. She and Bisca were close; Erza was the one who had literally beaten her into joining Fairy Tail.

"She's still at work," Alzack sighed helplessly.

"Work? Where?" Lucy asked.

Laki Olietta, adjusting her glasses, spoke up quietly. "She works at the private estate of the White Devil in Hargeon."

"The White Devil?"

The returning members exchanged confused glances. The name sounded absurdly ominous. But the moment the name left Laki's lips, Macao and the rest of the surviving members visibly flinched, looking incredibly awkward.

"White Devil?" Mirajane tilted her head, a sweet smile on her face. Her own moniker was "The Demon," so she wondered if this person was a fellow Take Over mage.

"W-Well... I guess I should explain everything," Macao groaned, rubbing his face.

As the Guild Master, it was his humiliating duty to confess just how far Fairy Tail had fallen. He explained everything—the crushing poverty, the lack of jobs, and how they had been forced to borrow a massive sum of money from the White Devil just to survive.

"...Exactly how much did you borrow?" Makarov asked, his voice trembling slightly.

"W-Well..."

Macao looked around for support, but the other members immediately took a step back, leaving him entirely alone. Defeated, Macao reached into his coat and handed Makarov a thick stack of meticulously drafted loan agreements.

"..."

Makarov flipped through the pages, his eyes bulging wider with every second. "You pawned the magic books?! The artifacts?! The... wait... THE LAND OF THE PREVIOUS GUILD BUILDING?!"

While the loss of the artifacts made Makarov furious, reading that the land of their original guildhall had been mortgaged nearly gave him a literal heart attack. It wasn't just about the memories. There was a terrifying, world-shaking secret hidden beneath that original building! If the White Devil started digging...

"What else were we supposed to do?!" Macao cried defensively. "The property taxes on that land were massive! This new place on the edge of town is cheap, and Reedus even manages to hustle tourists for drawings just so we can eat!"

Reedus, who was shockingly skinny now, nodded politely from the corner.

"W-What happened to the original land?" Makarov demanded, sweating bullets.

"The White Devil bought it. It's been turned into a massive department store."

"A department store? What the hell is that?"

"It's like... a massive castle with hundreds of different shops inside it. It makes an unbelievable amount of money. Thousands of civilians walk through it every single day."

"...."

Makarov's lips twitched violently. How the hell was he supposed to sneak into the basement and check on Fairy Tail's darkest secret if there were thousands of civilians walking on top of it every day?!

"Who is this guy?!" Natsu roared, slamming his fist into his palm. Flames erupted from his shoulders. "Who is this White Devil?! Let's go see how tough he really is!"

"Natsu, don't do anything stupid!" Macao hissed, absolutely terrified. "If you provoke him, he'll call in the principal of the debt! We will all be instantly homeless and legally banned from taking quests!"

"I don't care! I'll just beat the shit out of him!"

"SHUT UP!"

Makarov's arm suddenly expanded into a massive, heavily muscled giant fist, slamming directly onto Natsu's head and crushing him into the floorboards.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

"Continue, Macao," Makarov ordered, ignoring the smoking crater where Natsu used to be.

"His real name is Finn Hoen," Macao gulped. "He is only 19 years old, but he is already the Head of the Fiore Branch of the Magic Council."

"Magic Council?" Erza frowned deeply. Getting involved in a violent dispute with a high-ranking Council member was a political nightmare.

"And... he's practically the richest man in the entire kingdom."

"Richest?!" Lucy gasped.

"His name is Hoen?" Gajeel grinned wickedly, crossing his arms. "Isn't he a chicken?."

Macao didn't even react to Gajeel's mockery. Many idiots had mocked the White Devil in the past. All of them had disappeared. Macao simply shivered. "Anyway... whatever you do, do not mess with him! For now, let's just celebrate that you're all alive, okay?!"

The returning members fell into a heavy, contemplative silence. Fairy Tail was alive, but they were bound in chains.

Suddenly, the tavern doors slammed open.

"EVERYONE!"

Bisca stood in the doorway, tears streaming down her face as she looked at her long-lost friends. But before she could even initiate a proper, emotional hug, Erza, Lucy, and Mirajane instantly bombarded her, completely suffocating her with questions about her marriage, her child, and exactly what she was doing working for the Devil.

Meanwhile, back in the sprawling, quiet mansion in Hargeon, Finn adjusted his tailored trousers, poured himself a fresh cup of black coffee, and calmly returned to work.
