Raiden didn't waste any more time that afternoon and decided to go back home. It's been almost three months since he left his farm, and he missed it terribly.
After handling everything with the doctors, he walked into Isadora's office, ready to inform her of his decision, only to find her watching something on a Desktop with an amused expression on her face.
"Hey!! I am done with the hospital stuff, and I am leaving the base now, see you lat—"
"I love you, silly~"
"Morgana..."
"Say it back~"
"I love you too."
Raiden froze in his tracks as he heard the familiar sounds coming from the desktop. Hearing these sounds, he felt like he wanted to crawl into the earth and disappear.
It was probably one of the most embarrassing incidents he had ever felt, especially being exposed like this in front of Isadora, his future mother-in-law, for the first time.
