Chapter 143 - Destroying the Lab! Mewtwo Speaks!

Ethan stood in the sky, facing the Divine Eagle Alliance.

They had backed down.

But he hadn't.

No Easy Exit

"Let you go?"

Ethan let out a short laugh.

"You make it sound like you had a choice."

Across from him,

Andrew Smith,

Henry Taylor, and

Owen Morgan

stood stiffly.

Angry.

Humiliated.

Powerless.

"What more do you want?" Andrew asked through gritted teeth.

Ethan's answer was simple.

"Take me to your gene research facility."

"I want to see it destroyed."

"And every Pokémon inside—"

"I'm taking them."

Silence.

Heavy.

Dangerous.

"You're going too far!" Henry snapped.

Ethan's expression didn't change.

"Then we keep fighting."

"I have time."

That was the problem.

He meant it.

Forced Agreement

"…Fine."

Henry agreed.

Each word sounded like it was dragged out of his throat.

"Good."

"Lead the way."

They turned—

But Ethan didn't move.

Instead, he looked at one Pokémon.

Mewtwo

"You lead."

"Take me where you escaped from."

"I'll destroy it."

Mewtwo's Decision

For the first time—

Mewtwo hesitated.

That place…

Was hell.

From the moment it was born:

Blood extractionExperimentsForced battles

Endless.

Relentless.

Until it escaped.

Until it met Ethan.

Someone who—

Healed it.

Fed it.

Protected it.

Fought for it.

Now—

He was asking to go back.

Mewtwo looked at him.

Then—

Nodded.

The Hidden Facility

They flew.

Roughly twenty minutes.

Then—

A lone mountain appeared.

No towns.

No people.

Just a mountain.

And guards.

Lots of them.

They tensed—

But didn't act.

Because orders had changed.

Ethan walked in like he owned the place.

Inside the Lab

What he saw—

Was worse than expected.

Pokémon.

Everywhere.

Rare ones.

Common ones.

All the same here.

Specimens.

Test subjects.

Not partners.

Not companions.

Just data.

Ethan didn't hesitate.

He grabbed Poké Balls.

One by one—

He began collecting them.

Strangely—

None resisted.

Maybe…

They were too broken.

Erasing Everything

Once the Pokémon were secured—

There was only one thing left.

Ethan stepped back.

"Do it."

His team moved.

Metagross smashed foundations.

Mamoswine shattered terrain.

Tornadus tore structures apart.

Thundurus blasted everything with lightning.

And—

Mewtwo joined.

With absolute fury.

The mountain—

Collapsed.

Reduced to rubble.

But Ethan wasn't done.

"Arcanine."

"Burn it."

Arcanine unleashed flames.

Everything—

Burned.

Reduced to ash.

Nothing left to rebuild.

Finally Over

Ethan exhaled.

"It's done."

Now—

He could leave.

A Voice

"Thank you."

Ethan froze.

He turned.

No one spoke.

Only Pokémon nearby.

Then—

It clicked.

He looked at Mewtwo.

"That was you?"

Mewtwo didn't move.

But the voice came again.

"Thank you."

"You are a good person."

No mouth movement.

No sound.

Just—

A voice in his mind.

Telepathy.

Ethan stared at it.

Then smiled slightly.

So this was Mewtwo.

Not just powerful—

But capable of understanding.

Of feeling.

Of choosing.

And for the first time—

Mewtwo wasn't just following him.

It was speaking to him.
