Chapter 236 - Chapter 35: Black swan

[Talent Revival.]

...[Origin Talent: black swan]

[The black swan on the high tower, the unpredictable Doomsday.]

[When calamity walks the World... use flesh and soul as fuel.]

[After consuming Fate Changer Aminatu's pinky, you have activated the legendary flesh within your body—this is a gift from Aminatu to her sister, her favorite little trick.]

...[From now on, every time you sever a creature's fate line (annihilating life), you will absorb its Fate Silk (Passive).]

[You can use these cute little black threads to weave a completely illogical disaster.]

[Note: Destruction events include but are not limited to tsunamis/earthquakes/meteors/volcanic eruptions, etc.]

[Note: As the scope of destruction increases and the intensity rises, more Fate Silks are required to weave destruction events.]

[Note: Only humans or higher life forms above humans can provide Fate Silks.]

...[This is a little trick I like.]

[It belongs to your pinky now, sister!]

...Mori Tsukisa opened her eyes and looked thoughtfully at the pinky on her left hand.

Nothing was different, except for a thin golden line growing from the nail... "black swan... shouldn't there be a Grey Rhino or something?"

"Am I... a walking disaster?"

Unlike the Origin Talent Oshtur left for her, Aminatu's 'black swan' was clearly more aggressive, or rather, it was pushing Mori Tsukisa toward a... different path.

Just as she was thinking, a pair of hands reached out from ahead, and a deep purple figure tightly embraced the girl.

—Nagini held Mori Tsukisa firmly in her arms. On her shoulder, Arrietty, who had never been worried, was making faces and winking at the girl.

"I'm fine... I'm fine, Nagini." Mori Tsukisa patted the little snake's back. Further ahead was a dumbfounded Skender.

—The man was holding his wand, leaning against the wall tremblingly. A large bead of sweat rolled down his fat face, and the tip of his wand was vibrating like a turned-on... well... machine.

"Im-impossible—you!"

"Expelliarmus!"

A golden-yellow spell knocked away the shaking wand and also sent Skender tumbling.

This suddenly appearing middle-aged handsome man had his brows furrowed. He flicked his wand as he passed, binding Skender, and then strode toward Mori Tsukisa—he roughly pulled away Nagini, who was clinging to Mori Tsukisa, and grasped the girl's shoulders to examine her closely.

"Do you feel unwell?"

"Is your head dizzy?"

"Can you breathe normally? Does your heart hurt?"

"Tell me! Answer me!"

Questions tumbled out of Dumbledore's mouth one after another. Mori Tsukisa blinked blankly, being shaken back and forth by the man. Besides worry, his eyes also held a hint of warmth and memory... "I'm fine," the girl replied clearly, lifting her chin. "Sir... you?"

Dumbledore stroked his newly trimmed beard, nodded apologetically to Nagini, stepped back a few paces, and stood in the center of the room.

"You've caused quite a stir, Child, I tracked him here."

"Mori Tsukisa," the girl raised her hand.

"Mori Tsukisa, you took this..." The girl's deep eyes suddenly looked over, causing Dumbledore to subtly amend his statement: "You took this 'Lady' Nagini... You've caused quite a mess."

"Oh, are you here to catch her? Or me?"

"You cannot travel around with a Blood-Cursed Beastman. Can you control it?" Dumbledore shook his head solemnly, not lowering the wand in his hand.

"One?"

Mori Tsukisa repeated, pacing with her hands behind her back, as nimble as a cat treading on black and white piano keys—a strange, discordant scale gradually engulfing the ship's cabin that night.

The man swore—he had definitely seen this kind of oppressive feeling caused by immense power from someone before.

But... how could it be?

The wand silently rose.

"Nagini likes me and being with me, Mr. Dumbledore." Mori Tsukisa yawned, a golden thread on her pinky finger flashing by. "Your thoughts cannot be instilled into my mind through words. Everything—"

The girl suddenly showed a dangerous smile: "Everything speaks through strength, Mr. Dumbledore."

"No! Wait!" Nagini came forward, holding up her skirt, just blocking Dumbledore's line of sight—any spell cast from here would inevitably pass through Nagini's body... She made the same gesture as Mori Tsukisa had just made.

Nagini, her eyes full of tears, pleaded with Dumbledore: "Don't let her become an enemy of the Wizarding World, Mr. Dumbledore! You may have vast influence and great power, please take me away! I won't live much longer..."

"I beg you to spare Mori Tsukisa."

"I coerced her into letting me out!"

Mori Tsukisa's little head suddenly popped out from behind Nagini's shoulder, leaning on her knees with a mischievous look: "Oh! You finally called me by my name, Nagini."

"Mori Tsukisa! Don't come out!"

Responding to the woman's wail was a gleaming short dagger!

"Shield Charm!" Dumbledore reacted extremely quickly!

Before the girl's shadow dissipated, he raised his wand vertically to his chest—the transparent barrier shattered layer by layer under the penetration of the dining knife!

This spell could only block one of Mori Tsukisa's attacks!

"Good reaction." Mori Tsukisa coldly turned sideways, dodging the two spells shot at her, her figure flickering as she rapidly approached the retreating wizard!

She was like a leopard poised to strike!

"Impediment Jinx!"

"Crimson Bands of cyttorak!"

Two red lights shot towards each other—the difference was that the girl nimbly leaped onto the wall, Swinging the spell behind her, and dashed along the ceiling towards the middle-aged wizard;

While those few red chains... precisely bound one of Dumbledore's arms!

Three chains emerged from the void.

"Stupefy!"

The spell again... only shattered the girl's afterimage.

She had already landed on the other side of the cabin.

"Mr. Dumbledore, why don't you use that on me...?" Mori Tsukisa stopped not far away, a silver scalpel twirling in her small palm.

She picked up the still-warm black tea.

At this moment, the man still held his wand pointed at Mori Tsukisa; his other arm was firmly bound by three red chains that flashed into existence from the void above, to his left, and below.

The man, full of helplessness, watched the girl gulp down the black tea, then slowly lowered his wand.

"That's the Killing Curse, an Unforgivable Curse. Only the most evil villains use it on people." Dumbledore curiously poked the chains with his wand tip, and sure enough, they made a clinking sound: "Even so, I made a mistake."

"I used a spell on an ordinary person—" Dumbledore paused: "Although you are not an ordinary person..."

His gaze shifted to his arm: "Truly amazing... Mori Tsukisa, how did you do that?"

The girl propped herself up with both hands and sat on the table, her legs swinging back and forth.

"magic."

"magic?" Dumbledore looked at the chains, then at the girl, narrowing his eyes: "How do you plan to deal with me? With your dining knife?"

—The man still had the ability to fight, as long as the wizard held his wand, he could continue to pose a threat.

Mori Tsukisa nudged Dumbledore's shoulder.

Suddenly, his chin felt a little itchy.

The man looked down.

At his neck, a sharp blade was idly swaying between his artery and trachea—the Little Sprite with fiery long hair, just like her Master, looked up strangely and yawned impatiently.

She had been sitting there for a long time.

"Three seconds, you only lived for three seconds, Wizard."
