Vaela supported the plan right away.
"It will also stop people from treating the lower chamber like some sacred place," she said.
Rhoswen looked over at her. "Nobody called it sacred."
Vaela gave her a flat look. "Yesterday I heard someone call it the White Chamber of Renewal."
Rhoswen thought about that for a moment.
"That actually sounds impressive."
"It sounds like the beginning of a problem."
Aurelian agreed with Vaela on that.
They needed the facility to be treated like a medical center, not some holy place where people came expecting miracles.
The systems inside were valuable, but they were still tools, and tools became dangerous when people stopped questioning how they were being used.
So they gave it a simple name.
The Ardent Medical Institute.
Nothing dramatic.
Nothing mysterious.
Just a name that told people exactly what the place was supposed to be.
Rhoswen complained about it for less than a minute before getting bored and moving on to something else.
