Athaliah's smug smile vanished the second she heard Alpha Killian's deep voice behind her. She could not understand why it annoyed her so much even when she had never had a proper conversation with him before.
It was as if he was sent from hell to torment her.
Before she could even turn around, Daisy jumped right back in, determined not to let the game die. Her eyes locked onto Seraphine with fierce intensity.
"It's not over yet. You still have to climb that hill and yell at the top of your lungs that you love Alpha Voren."
Pure confidence flashed across Daisy's face. She was absolutely sure Voren would reject Seraphine after getting publicly humiliated like that.
After all, Seraphine had kissed him, called him a terrible kisser in front of everyone, and then refused to pay him a single cent. There was no way a proud man like Voren would let that kind of disrespect slide without pushing her away.
