Xu Jin gently patted Grandma Liang's back.
"Grandma…"
His voice softened in a way it rarely did.
"He loves you the most in this world."
He paused, then added quietly,
"Forget the bitter past and think about good things. These years doesn't suit you at all."
"And cherish the present and future with him and obviously with me and yun hu too."
Grandma Liang's trembling slowly eased.
Xu Jin reached out and carefully wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes.
Then he stood up, walked to the table, and poured a glass of water.
He handed it to her.
"Drink beast grandma."
She took it, nodding lightly then realised just what this brat said and smacked him on his head.
"Oww, grandma don't me on head. I will become dumb!"
Grandma scoffed "aren't you dumb enough already " giving side eye to him.
After a moment, she suddenly pointed toward the living room.
"Turn on the TV."
Xu Jin raised an eyebrow but walked over anyway. He chuckled internally ' she wants to change the topic'.
