Cherreads

Chapter 221 - Kanon vs. Killer Bee | The Uchiha’s True Crushing Dominance

"Ponta!" Master Sabu instantly moved to stand before Killer Bee.

Shouldering his massive axe, he moved to block Kanon. "You actually killed Ponta! Now, witness my fury!"

"And who are you supposed to be?" Kanon frowned.

Killer Bee looked at Kanon with surprise. How did this girl, who looked barely sixteen, manage to reduce the massive Ponta to a bloody mist with a single punch?

"Forget it. I don't care who you are. Do you intend to get in my way?" Kanon brushed her long, straight black hair back behind her ear. Her Mangekyō Sharingan flared to life.

Apocalypse: Flower Burial!

From Kanon's left eye, countless cherry blossoms drifted out. These thousands of petals surged directly toward Killer Bee's rap mentor, Sabu.

Killer Bee moved to hurl a blade, but the cherry blossoms seemed to sense his movement. They instantly accelerated from their original drifting pace, moving nearly ten times faster!

"Master Sabu!" Killer Bee roared, but it was too late. Under the might of this top-tier Mangekyō ocular jutsu, Sabu was ground into a pulp by the Flower Burial.

"I told you... don't get in my way."

Kanon looked at Killer Bee and raised her Kusanagi Sword with a cold sneer. Killer Bee, meanwhile, was beginning to seethe with rage.

He held a pencil in his hand and, in a flash, flung it toward Kanon's forehead.

That pencil was no ordinary tool; Kisame had already analyzed it.

A pencil infused with Lightning Release to induce high-frequency vibrations, enhancing its penetration power. With super-vibrations stronger than Wind Release, if that hits Kanon, it'll blow a hole right through her, Kisame thought.

"But..." Kisame smirked as the pencil passed right through Kanon's body.

"What?!" Killer Bee was shocked.

"Draw your swords. I feel like that other Uchiha didn't let you enjoy yourself at all."

"Now, let me show you... what an Uchiha truly is."

Killer Bee was furious. Seven blades fell from the sky and were instantly caught and held by various parts of his body.

"I already trashed your brother; are you here to die too, little sister? Ya fool, ya jerk!"

"I suggest you don't underestimate me..."

"Because..." Kanon blurred into an afterimage, launching herself forward.

"So fast!" Killer Bee gasped. He raised his blades to defend, but Kanon's Kusanagi Sword was already clashing with his seven blades in that very instant.

Clang!

Sword light flashed and blade shadows flickered like lightning. Every collision felt as though it would tear the surrounding space apart.

With a sharp whistle, the Kusanagi Sword in Kanon's hand cut through the air, a cold gleam pointing straight at Killer Bee.

Killer Bee's eyes narrowed. He leaped back while rotating his seven blades into a defensive web, attempting to wall off Kanon's offensive line.

But Kanon seemed to have anticipated this. Her body performed a mid-air roll, and during that single rotation, she unleashed several slashes.

Clang, clang, clang! The relentless sound of clashing metal filled the air. The rhythm of their battle accelerated, turning into a wordless symphony. Every attack was filled with lethal intent; every dodge required peak skill and reaction speed.

During Sasuke's duel with Killer Bee, his swordsmanship had been completely suppressed. Killer Bee had assumed that since the older brother was subpar, the younger sister would be even worse.

But this time, he was dead wrong. Kanon's blade was not just fast, but incredibly powerful. Her movements were perfectly synchronized with her sword; every one of his strikes was parried by Kanon, while he began to suffer nicks and cuts across his body.

Indeed, Killer Bee's Seven-Swords Style was being forced back by Kanon's single blade. His rhythm was fast, fast enough that Sasuke couldn't even track it, but Kanon's tempo was even faster!

This Uchiha is nothing like Sasuke... her strength is on a completely different level! Killer Bee thought. Normally, people would keep their distance from his blades rather than attack head-on. The Uchiha siblings were different; Sasuke had tried a frontal assault and failed.

But Kanon's frontal assault was successfully suppressing the Seven-Swords Style.

"Is that all? I can go even faster!" The veins on Kanon's body began to bulge, the sign of the Eight Inner Gates opening.

Clang! Crack!

After opening the fourth gate, Kanon was transformed. Her speed and power reached a new peak. Killer Bee failed to parry several times and took multiple slashes. Finally, in a sudden shift of rhythm, Kanon's blade flicked him off his feet.

Kanon moved to deliver a finishing blow, but Killer Bee rolled away just in time. As Kanon's sword struck empty air, Killer Bee, now clad in a Tailed Beast chakra cloak, charged at her with his left arm leading.

"Lightning Release: Lariat!"

Seeing this high-speed strike, Kanon actually smiled. Killer Bee passed right through her body, feeling no sensation of impact.

"How?!" Killer Bee wondered.

"Hey, Bee! Behind you!" the Eight-Tails warned urgently, but it was a step too late. Or rather, Kanon was simply too fast.

She had crossed dozens of meters in a single step, her body erupting with a Lightning Release Armor she had learned from the Raikage. Her slender arm was wreathed in terrifying lightning chakra as she lunged at Killer Bee.

"No way..." Killer Bee gasped. Before he could even come to a halt or turn around, a Lariat of her own smashed into his chest.

Crack!

The sound of shattering bone and flesh rang out. Fragments of Killer Bee's internal organs were nearly coughed out from the impact.

"Bee!" the Eight-Tails screamed, desperately using its chakra to repair Killer Bee's internal organs. Without that intervention, he would have died instantly.

Kisame was dumbstruck. He had seen the Uchiha's way of fighting before, but Kanon was terrifying. She never retreated; she broke her opponents through pure, direct force.

It was the same when she fought Itachi. In this battle against Killer Bee, she didn't rely on tricks; she crushed him head-on.

This straightforward and terrifying style reminded the Eight-Tails of Uchiha Madara, someone who didn't care for schemes and simply crushed everything in their path as if the world were made of ants.

Kanon's expression was now one of mockery. She landed lightly and watched Killer Bee struggle to his feet. Taking another step, the markings of Sage Mode appeared at the corners of her eyes. She swung a fist toward Killer Bee's face.

A strike powered by the Fourth Gate and Sage Mode, even Killer Bee with his Tailed Beast cloak couldn't tank it.

His body was sent reeling, the snowfield exploding behind him. Killer Bee smashed through hundreds of trees, carving a deep trench into the earth.

"I suppose the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki isn't all that much."

"Kisame-nii, I'll leave the Eight-Tails to you. I need to go find Danzō."

Noticing Kisame's stunned face, Kanon called out again: "Kisame-nii?"

"Oh... right!"

"Honestly, try to stay focused." Kanon leaped into the air, her Fourth Gate and Sage Mode deactivating.

Mid-air, a rose-shaped vortex manifested. Kanon stepped into the spiral and vanished completely.

She left behind a staggering Killer Bee and a bewildered Kisame.

"Itachi-san... your sister..."

"You might have really chosen the wrong person to cross..."

After his sigh, Kisame lifted Samehada and looked at Killer Bee.

"Know what? Octopuses eat sharks," Killer Bee said, coughing up blood.

"Looking at you now," Kisame replied, "it seems it's the shark's turn to eat the octopus."
