Yanai glanced at Zena, a faint crease forming between his brows. This female's scent… it felt strangely familiar.
"Where do you live? We'll take you back," Nina said.
"Just ahead." Zena pointed in a direction and started walking.
Her thoughts were in turmoil.
For the first time, she didn't want to complete the mission. She didn't want to harm this female, the only one who had ever truly helped her.
Even if that moment had been staged on her end, Nina's kindness had been real.

A female was struggling with a male.
