After being pushed out of the common room, Harry sighed. He looked at the Shooting Star in his hand: "You won't blame me, will you?"
The Shooting Star bounced out of Harry's hand, its broom head bent over, patted him on the shoulder, and then shuffled forward.
After taking two steps, the broom head turned back again.
It seemed to be saying, "Let's go, why are you standing there?"
Harry smiled, sweeping away the gloom from before, and had barely walked two steps when he heard a breathless shout.
"Harry!"
Hermione ran over from the other side, her long brown hair fluttering in the air, her cheeks flushed from running.
"What happened to you?" She looked at Harry with concern: "Are you feeling unwell? The Hospital Wing, no, Madam Pomfrey is right there…"
"No!" Harry interrupted her, smiling: "Don't worry, I'm perfectly fine."
"Then why did you withdraw from the competition? Seriously, is something wrong with your body?" Hermione was still very anxious.
"No, it's just… I don't think it's necessary anymore, it's not quite what I initially thought," Harry shook his head.
"What's different?" Hermione didn't understand.
As they walked towards the Castle, Harry explained.
A moment later, the common room door opened, and Draco walked out, looking at their retreating figures.
??
Running so fast?
After thinking for a moment, he finally chose to turn right and go to the Slytherin stands to call Crabbe and Goyle, those two rascals.
Back in the quiet Castle, the two walked together towards the library.
Footsteps echoed, and due to the Quidditch match, there was hardly anyone in the entire Castle.
"…Tear you…tear you apart…kill you…"
A barely perceptible voice suddenly entered Harry's ears.
It was a speaking voice, a horrifying, breath-stopping, cold, and malicious speaking voice. It was barely perceptible, yet it was so clear in Harry's ears.
Snake?!
Harry immediately reacted. He had already mastered this skill through communication with Nagini during the holidays.
He could now clearly perceive the change in state that occurred when switching between languages.
"Come…come here…let me tear you…tear you apart…kill you…"
Left! Very close, closer!!
He grabbed Hermione, pulled her behind him, and shielded her with his body.
"Harry, what's wrong?!" Hermione was confused. Harry's movement pulled her arm a little, but she already felt the seriousness in him.
However, Harry was only facing a wall.
As he wondered, he heard a chilling, terrifying hiss coming from Harry.
"Hiss…Don't…kill…Leave here…Leave Hogwarts…"
"…Master…forced me…to kill…You…are not Master…"
Master?!
Harry's heart skipped a beat. This was not a simple little animal that had emerged from some corner of the Forbidden Forest.
This immediately reminded him of the legend of the Slytherin Chamber of Secrets, no! Not a legend!
"Go, Hermione, we need to leave here quickly!" Harry quickly turned and walked towards the other side from where the sound had come.
However, a green shadow suddenly appeared from nowhere in the corner of his eye. The ground rustled, and a foul wind blew directly towards them.
Immediately, both of them turned to look.
In an instant, a giant snake, entirely green and radiating the bright glow unique to venomous snakes, with a body as thick as an oak tree trunk, appeared from nowhere.
It raised its upper body high into the air, its flat, large head held up, letting out a roar.
And those yellowish, lamp-bulb-like eyes—
It was at the moment their eyes met that a dazzling light suddenly erupted from Hermione.
Various runes and blue-purple starlight burst from her chest, transforming into a dazzling protective layer.
An invisible clash seemed to unfold between the two and the giant snake. An invisible explosion occurred in mid-air, and the shockwave directly blasted the two backward.
With a thud, both of them fell to the ground.
Harry quickly scrambled up, stood in front of Hermione, and drew his sword.
The large snake also seemed to be affected by the shockwave, shaking its head.
"Hiss…Get out…Leave here…"
The large snake raised its head, seemingly startled or controlled by Harry's Parseltongue. Its body rapidly contracted and drilled into a pipe on the ceiling.
A booming sound filled the air, and beside Harry, a figure appeared.
He suddenly raised his hand and struck, a sharp blade sweeping towards the fleeing snake.
Boom—
The snake's tail was directly cut off. The blade continued its momentum, hitting the wall directly and creating a shocking crack.
