47. The unmaking.
Wisteria was awakened.
Earlier than usual.
Even before dawn came.
"Find her! Search every house, every farm and every road! She must not escape! Find Damaris!" was the order given by Ethan.
And though Goodwin could not believe the Damaris he knew would have done harm to a soul, his commander lay unconscious in a room fighting for his life. And Damaris was said to have put him in that state.
So he led his men on a hunt for Wisteria's favorite.
Sapphira examined him and administered first aid but they knew it was only going to last a while, for his wound was deep.
His life was still in danger.
In the small town of Wisteria, there was no healer, and so healing magic could not be administered, they had sent a message to the healer in another town that was bigger than Wisteria, but could not risk waiting around for him to come, so they readied to make their way to them.
The long vacation was over and reality, as wicked as it could be, had returned.
