The sun rose over Wisteria as bright as always. Children had risen and were frolicking about, while the adults had begun their various business for thee day.
The wind that blowed over the manor that morning was a fine one, the laughter of people echoed through the air and pleasant greetings were exchanged.
The morning was so normal and peaceful that it felt like a mockery to the bloody event that had occurred the night before. But that was to be expected, after all, no trace of the fight—or the blood that had spilled—was left behind.
The ceremony was only two days away so everyone was even busier than the day before. Those in charge of decorations were picking out the most beautiful flowers and discussing the right order of placement. Sharon and the other musicians were practicing the tunes they would play on that day, even though everyone was telling them that their songs already sounded perfect enough.
