Elara brushed a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Her face was as hard as stone.
"Yes, we are."
Jullian let out a long sigh. He looked at the clock and sighed again, even louder this time. He had been hoping for some respite, but he just felt more tired. He was starting to regret his life choices—especially the part where he had to watch over that loud-mouthed man, Alex.
Jullian didn't like most people. He could only really stand Elara, whether it was because he was loyal or just afraid. But Alex was becoming a real problem.
