Chapter 6 - headache

"Lilly. Lilly Alize" the little pup ushered, her tail slackened to the ground as she stared at Alucard scared but a scarce amount of awe seeped out from her green eyes. To be perfectly honest Alucard was fighting an insticintual urge to look down on them, they where weak and he was strong that was the first thought that imerged from his head as soon as he laid eyes on the pillaged villagers. It would seem he still hasn't fully adjusted to himself, this was going to be annoying.

"Lilly Alize a nice name." Alucard said looking past the small pup and onto the haggard crowd, he spoke loudly.

"Rest easy now all of you, your worries have been vanquished. My name is Alucard and I come in peace." Yet a heavy atmosphere still lingered with those words, though some braver than most seemed relieved. With a loosen grip The woman dog person escaped from her holders as she tumbled down tearing the edges of her long skirt. Pushing herself with momentum she pulled lily into her chest and bared her teeth towards Alucard. But her strong act couldn't fool anybody not even herself as she found herself faltering under the abysmal gaze of Alucard eyes. With trembling ears and her hairs standing on edge she muttered.

"Forgive me. Forgive my daughter mercy."

'Why do I feel like the bad guy come on I literally just said I come In peace!?' Alucard thought grimacing as he looked at the bowing dog person who made her daughter bow along side her. Various thuds followed. Alucard looked past them and saw all the villagers doing the same thing bowing with their heads touching the ground like their life depended on it.

'Come on I am the good guy here! Stop making me feel like the bad guy!' Frustrated out of his mind Alucard hid his annoyed expression as an older grayed dog person with blood following down his fur shouted loudly.

"We thank you Lord Alucard for your strength and lending us your hand and showing mercy, I plead again with you to show us your mercy and spare the little one and her mother I beg of you my lord."

"Please forgive them." An old voice coming from the back yelled with a pleading tone. Alucard was already at the point were he wanted to just pull his hair out.

"It's quite alright I am not vain enough to see past the worries of a mother protecting her daughter from a stranger, after the horrific attack you all went through by those horrid creatures I understand your suspicion about outsiders. Know this as long as I am here you shall know no fear." That's better Alucard saw as the elderly dog person smiled as tears began to fall from his eyes he began to slowly stand up. One by one the others soon followed. Looking down towards the mother and daughter duo Alucard reached his hand down as she looked at it hesitantly he spoke.

"Take my hand, I promise I don't bite."
