"This is impossible!"
Zephyr, from Marine Headquarters, was also roaring.
He was also a participant.
But Zephyr was even worse off; Aokiji, Akainu, and Kizaru, at least, fought Kevin head-on, and although Akainu was severely wounded, he contributed the most.
As for Zephyr...
He did nothing; as soon as he appeared, he took a blow for nothing.
Half of his body was gone, and he was in a coma for over two months.
He only barely survived by becoming a cyborg, neither human nor ghost.
Zephyr became a joke.
At least Kevin was dead, so Zephyr could still comfort himself.
Now Kevin was alive.
He was no longer just a joke, but a clown.
Ain and the other students looked at the shouting Zephyr with some fear; he was terrifying.
...
No matter how shocked or disbelieving they were in their hearts.
But Kevin was alive.
Everyone knew it had become a fact.
After everyone slowly came back to their senses, most of them looked at the Marines with a mix of sympathy and schadenfreude.
In their hearts, they despised the Marines, thinking they were too foolish to make such a big mistake; it was the biggest joke in history.
The pirates were in a frenzy of celebration.
To be able to see the Marines make such a huge blunder in their lifetime was enough.
The smoke and dust completely dissipated.
"Cough, cough, cough…"
Sengoku knelt on the ground, coughing up blood continuously, mixed with blood foam from his internal organs, which had already stained the ground in front of him red.
Wiping the fresh blood from the corner of his mouth.
Sengoku struggled to his feet, slowly standing up.
His face, which had finally calmed down, turned into a devilish grimace the moment he saw Kevin: "Why, why are you still alive? How are you still alive? How on earth did you survive?"
Sengoku absolutely did not believe that Akainu and the others would make a false report.
It was impossible for the current three Admirals, and his old comrade Zephyr, to lie about military intelligence for Kevin, concealing the fact that he was still alive.
Something must have gone wrong.
It must have.
Even with Sengoku, who was said to possess the wisdom of a Buddha, he couldn't figure it out.
Kevin retorted, "I never said I was dead, so how dare you assume I was dead?"
Sengoku was stunned.
This was a contradictory sentence.
Yet, he felt there was some truth to it.
Sengoku gritted his teeth.
His mind raced, and he observed his surroundings out of the corner of his eye, checking the current situation.
Suddenly, he saw the motionless person being dragged in Kevin's hand.
His pupils dilated.
Is that Kaji?
"Oh, you want him?" Kevin sensed Sengoku's gaze.
He casually threw the unconscious Kaji high into the air, towards Sengoku.
A flicker of joy appeared in Sengoku's eyes.
Kaji was a new generation that the Marines were focusing on cultivating, especially after Gion's betrayal; Kaji was the only one left to uphold the Marines' reputation in this generation.
He was already a top figure in the Marines.
He didn't expect Kevin to just let him go like that.
Sengoku could sense that Kaji still had breath, still alive.
The next moment.
Sengoku's recently appeared smile froze.
He watched helplessly as Kaji, right in front of him, was bisected by a flying slash, and the splattering blood splattered all over Sengoku.
He was in a state of numbness.
He stared blankly at the corpse that fell in front of him.
Dead.
"You?" Sengoku was furious, spitting out a mouthful of foul blood.
His hand trembling, he pointed at Kevin.
