Despite the Director's proposal, which might've seemed tempting to someone else, Lucian didn't give an immediate response.
Instead, he simply asked them to continue with the combat examination. Cedric didn't try to speak further, giving the young man some time to think. Rather than pressuring him into answering, he simply nodded before continuing with the last part of the examination.
Now, standing in the centre of the training ground, Cedric and Leonardo stood before Lucian and Seraphina.
The large training area around them was quiet, marked out across several long metres before continuing into the other sections. There was no one else around aside from them.
Cedric glanced toward the two of them before speaking.
"We'll call for rankers according to your ranks."
He pulled out his phone and made a call, briefly explaining the situation and asking them to send two awakened rankers suitable for the examination.
