A familiar voice drew Severine's attention toward the door.
Killian stood there. His eyes were bright, and even from this distance, she could tell he was happy.
She tried to sit up straighter, her hand already lifting up as if to reach him.
Looking at them, Andrei cleared his throat. "Then, I'll take my leave."
No one replied to him.
"Yeah, I'll go now."
When he passed Killian, Andrei consciously took several steps to the side, giving the man a wide berth.
The raw terror from that day on the mountain wasn't something he could forget in just a few short months.
Honestly, if it weren't for his desire to see Severine, he wouldn't even be standing in this house in the first place.
There were some files related to his cooperation with Rhodes that he needed to deliver to Killian, and the young lord refused to leave the house.
So, he could only come here, and while at it, he wanted to take a look at Severine.
