There was a monstrous, deformed Titan—over a hundred meters tall and a thousand meters long—with only bones visible apart from its head. Surrounding this grotesque Titan were countless Colossal Titans, too many to count.
The scene clearly depicted an army composed entirely of sixty-meter-tall Colossal Titans, numbering at least several hundred thousand.
Such a force could likely flatten any corner of the world with ease.
"This is the true Founding Titan—and the power it can control."
Ymir spoke calmly. "You have already mastered the true Founding Titan. As long as you wish, you can freely command those Titans to do anything. And as long as the Founding Titan's power remains, they will not die. Even if they are shattered, they will immediately regenerate."
"They don't need to eat, they don't feel fear, they will never betray you—and you don't need to worry about the 'Vow of Renouncing War.' I can break that contract for you at any time. With this power, you can do anything you desire… including destroying the world."
Ymir looked at Naruto seriously as she finished speaking.
Naruto listened, a thoughtful expression appearing in his eyes.
It had to be said—an army of several hundred thousand sixty-meter-tall Colossal Titans, each immortal, fearless, and absolutely loyal… Even in his real world, such a force would be impossible to counter.
However, no matter how powerful it was, this strength was ultimately virtual. It couldn't be taken with him—so what did it truly mean to him?
"So this is the key…"
Naruto thought for a moment before suddenly asking, "If I abandon the power of the Titans, will you truly be free?"
"You—"
Ymir froze briefly, then looked at him in disbelief. "If I say yes… would you really be willing to give up this power?"
"Yes. I would."
Naruto nodded firmly, his expression serious.
"Someone once told me that the existence of Titans is a stumbling block that hinders the progress of human civilization—something that should not exist in this world. I've always agreed with that view."
"Therefore, even if your freedom had nothing to do with Titan power, I still wouldn't allow it to continue being passed down through me."
Those words came from Erwin Smith, during a discussion they once had about the origins of Titan power. Naruto had agreed at the time and resolved to help bring an end to it.
He just hadn't expected that he himself would become the host of the strongest Titan power.
In a way… it was like a boomerang coming back to hit him.
"Titans… are a stumbling block to human civilization?"
Ymir's eyes filled with shock. It was the first time she had ever heard such a perspective—and she could tell that Naruto truly believed it.
This King Fritz… was genuinely willing to abandon power that could rule the world?
"That's right."
Naruto nodded, then asked again, "So if I give up the power of the Titans, can you truly be free?"
"Yes."
This time, Ymir answered without hesitation.
"However, the power of the Titans is not something you can simply abandon at will. Even if you, as the current host of the Founding Titan, allow yourself to die naturally without passing it on…"
"The Founding Titan will still be reborn into a random Eldian infant—regardless of distance or blood relation."
"It can even do that?"
Naruto's eyes widened in surprise.
"Is there no way for even you to stop it?"
He had assumed that simply refusing to pass it on would end it—but this random reincarnation made things far more complicated.
"No."
Ymir shook her head.
"Although I was the first person chosen by this power, I am only its host—not its master. I cannot erase it."
"The only way to end the power of the Titans… is to destroy it completely when the Founding Titan's power is fully manifested."
"I see… so there is a way."
Naruto felt a sense of relief.
"Then what form does the Founding Titan take when it's fully manifested?"
"It's exactly what I showed you."
Ymir raised her hand, pointing to her eyes. The image of the massive skeletal Titan appeared again.
"When the Founding Titan reaches that state… the host's head must be severed to completely end the Titan power."
"So it really is that form…"
Naruto stared at the enormous, deformed Titan.
If he transformed into something like that, even standing still, it would likely be impossible for anyone to harm him—unless he allowed it.
And unfortunately, as the host… he would be the one getting attacked.
Still, now that he knew the method, he could find a solution.
He wasn't worried.
At worst, he could just consult his "external brain"—Erwin Smith.
He refused to believe that, with his cooperation, they couldn't deal with a giant skeleton.
"Don't assume you can simply stand still and wait to be killed."
Ymir suddenly spoke, as if reading his thoughts.
"When the Founding Titan's power is fully manifested, even if the host has no intention to resist, the Titan power will automatically control other Titans to defend against threats."
"Oh? It can do that too?"
Rather than being alarmed, Naruto seemed intrigued.
"So in the end… I'll have to compete with the Founding Titan itself in terms of will?"
Right now, he couldn't oppose that power.
But at the final moment… testing his will against it?
That sounded interesting.
Ymir watched his eager expression, feeling that this King Fritz was… truly unusual.
Not only was he willing to abandon absolute power, but he was actively trying to destroy it—even after obtaining it.
In all her countless years within this coordinate space, she had never encountered someone like him.
This King Fritz was completely different from all the others.
No wonder… even the Attack Titan could not see his future.
