Inside Wall Sina—

the Reiss family mansion.

When Naruto arrived carrying the unconscious Eren Yeager over his shoulder, Kenny Ackerman immediately appeared before him, as if he had been waiting all along.

Naruto glanced at Kenny, who still seemed slightly excited, and asked, "I've brought the person. What's next?"

Kenny cast a quick look at Eren, then smiled faintly.

"Follow me."

With that, he turned and walked deeper into the mansion.

Naruto frowned slightly but followed without hesitation.

They went straight to the living room.

A man in a suit, wearing a top hat and dressed impeccably, was already waiting there, clearly informed in advance of Naruto's arrival.

"This is Roy Reiss, head of the Reiss family—and the true ruler within the walls."

Kenny introduced him first, then added, "Naruto, everything you want to know will be answered by him tonight."

Naruto shifted his gaze to the man.

"Hello, Naruto. I am Roy Reiss—you may call me Roy."

Roy smiled gently.

"Feel free to ask anything. Tonight, no matter what you wish to know, I will answer without reservation."

"Tonight…"

Naruto repeated softly, studying him for a moment before speaking.

"Then let's start with the situation inside the walls. I'm curious about both the current state of things—and the origin of the Titans."

As he spoke, Naruto subtly sensed Roy's emotions.

Surprisingly, what he felt wasn't hostility or caution—but something akin to parental affection.

The sensation struck him as odd.

However, the reason quickly became clear.

When entering this world, Naruto had chosen the identity of a descendant of the Founding Titan, Ymir Fritz.

And since the Fritz name had become Reiss…

The man before him was likely related to his body's maternal lineage.

"Alright."

Roy nodded readily, pausing briefly to gather his thoughts.

"Our Reiss family possesses the power of the Founding Titan—the ability to control all Titans, as well as the Subjects of Ymir."

"This control extends beyond simple commands. It includes complete influence over both body and mind. Through the Founding Titan, one can even alter the physical and mental state of the Subjects of Ymir—for example, erasing their memories."

He continued calmly,

"The memories of the people within the walls were erased in this manner—their knowledge of the outside world completely wiped away."

"However, the power of the Founding Titan can only be used by those of royal blood—descendants of King Fritz. In other words, our Reiss bloodline."

So Erwin's guess was correct…

Naruto thought to himself, letting out a quiet breath.

Then he asked,

"Why erase the memories of the people inside the walls?"

"That… is a long story."

Roy organized his thoughts before continuing.

"The origin of the world within the walls begins with the 145th King Fritz—Karl Fritz."

"He grew weary of Eldia's tyranny over Marley and the rest of the world. To him, the endless cycle of slaughter was not only wrong—but unforgivable."

"He wanted to end it all."

"To accomplish this, King Karl formed an agreement with the Tybur family, who possessed the War Hammer Titan."

"Together, they staged a grand deception."

"They fabricated a hero—a Marleyan named Helos—who was said to have defeated King Fritz alongside the Tybur family and driven him to Paradis Island."

Naruto's expression shifted slightly.

"The place we're standing in now… is just an island?"

"That's right."

Roy nodded.

"This island was chosen by King Karl as a sanctuary—for his people and his descendants."

"After the deception, King Karl accepted the blame and withdrew here with a portion of the Eldian population."

"He then constructed three massive walls to isolate them."

"To ensure no one would attempt to leave, he used the Founding Titan's power to erase their memories before they even arrived on Paradis."

"From that moment on, the people within the walls believed that all humanity beyond them had perished—that they were the last survivors in the world."

"At the same time," Roy continued, "those non-Eldians who accompanied him—whose memories could not be altered—were bound to secrecy."

"And to ensure that his successors would never abandon this isolation…"

"King Karl imposed the Vow to Renounce War through the Founding Titan."

"This vow passed down his ideology to every inheritor, suppressing any desire to fight or reclaim the outside world."

"After that, the Fritz family changed their name to Reiss and went into hiding among the nobility."

"They installed a puppet king—bearing the Fritz name—to rule publicly, while the Reiss family governed from the shadows."

Roy's voice softened slightly.

"This… is the true history of the world within the walls."

"I see…"

Naruto fell silent for a long moment, absorbing the weight of the revelation.

Then he spoke again.

"What about the origin of Titan power?"

"And those mindless Titans outside the walls—how did they come to exist?"

Roy paused briefly before answering.

"As for the origin of Titan power…"

"Legend says it began with Ymir—the first Titan."

"While being hunted by the first King Fritz, she fell, near death, into a lake beneath an ancient tree that had stood for a thousand years."

"There, she came into contact with a mysterious organism—something resembling a spine from the depths of the sea."

"There are also other accounts," Roy added.

"Some claim she gained her power by making a pact with the 'Devil of the Earth.'"

He shook his head slightly.

"Both stories date back over two thousand years. Their truth can no longer be verified."

"As for the Titans outside the walls…"

Roy hesitated for a moment, then looked directly at Naruto.

His voice grew heavier.

"They were created by Marley."

"Using the spinal fluid of intelligent Titans, Marley developed injections capable of transforming Eldians into Titans."

"They forcibly injected these serums into Eldians, turning them into mindless Titans—then exiled them to Paradis Island."

"These Titans serve as both punishment… and weapons."

"A living barrier meant to contain us."

He paused.

Then spoke quietly:

"Strictly speaking…"

"They are all our kin."

"This," Roy concluded, "is the entire truth."
