[3rd POV]
Standing in front of Mitchell and Cam's home, Billie slowly lifted her hand and knocked on the door swiftly. She and Haley stood next to one another, waiting for the door to get opened.
And they didn't have to wait long, as they both watched a distracted Cam open the door.
"Really Mitchell, I do not think that Haley spent too much on that birkIN! Oh my god!" Cam gasped as he saw Billie and Haley standing there, with the former fighting back a laugh and the latter looking at Mitchell who was standing a bit further in the back, giving him quite the death glare.
"What are you doing here? I thought you'd be back in another couple of days!" Cam said with a look of surprise as he moved forward and gave the two of them a big hug.
"Yeah, what are you doing here? At the exact moment that I am talking about you" Mitchell said in the back, looking really uncomfortable as he saw the look his niece was giving him.
"Well we figured we could surprise the family by getting back a bit early. And I was excited to see you, only to hear my favorite uncle talking smack about my Birkin, a Birkin!" Haley replied with an insulted look on her face.
"I told him that Birkin's are gorge, but he didn't seem to understand. And really, you're making millions of dollars a month, what's 20 grand to that?" Cam added, nodding along with her words.
"Oh no I didn't pay for the Birkin, my absolutely amazing, gorgeous, beautiful, awe-" "I bought it for her" Billie cut off her girlfriend with a deadpan as Haley pouted.
"...You're kind of Haley's sugar mommy, aren't you?" Mitchell asked.
"What of course she isn-" "Hmm, I guess so, to a degree. She doesn't call me mommy so it's not really that accurate" Billie cut off her girlfriend as Haley blushed bright red at her words, while Mitchell and Cam both choked on their own spit.
"Way too much information!" Mitchell said with a grossed out look on his face, not wanting to know about his niece's potential sex life.
"Wait...did you two? No! You didn't!" Cam said with wide eyes as he looked between the two. Seemingly coming to a realization. He began to notice the way they both looked closer to one another, the way Haley was softly gripping Billie's hand. The slight marks on Haley's neck that had not faded completely yet.
"C-Cam please don't continue this conversation" Haley said, growing increasingly red along with embarrassment. While Billie was trying her best not to laugh at the entire situation that was happening.
"Alright, alright, I'll move onto something else. Like...what're you doing here? Why'd you leave early?" Cam asked, as they all moved to sit down on the couch.
"Well we had done most of the stuff that we were planning on doing while there, and figured that there was not much of a point of pushing it. We could always go back in the future and do more there if we ever want to" Haley replied with a shrug.
They were both worth millions at this point, so paying for something like a trip to another country was not a problem for either of them what so ever. Billie could spend a million dollars and it really was not going to even remotely dent the amount that she has in her bank account.
"I think you might be the only people in the family that can say that so casually. Not even Jay can do that, and that's saying a lot. He makes a lot off of closets, way more than you'd think" Mitchell said, trying not to admit that he was rather jealous of how insanely wealthy his niece and her girlfriend were.
At the very least he was confident that Billie was richer than his dad. And Haley was probably going to surpass him sooner or later, but it'd probably take a couple of years or something like that.
"Yeah, but we're kind of limiting ourselves to two vacation trips a year. One during the summer and one during the winter. That way it's always during breaks and off time" Haley replied, not denying what her uncle was saying as it was true.
"Annnyways, we come bearing gifts!"
After saying this, Haley handed the two of them their gift. It was a bag full of goodies, mostly snacks, souvenirs, and of course the Hermès wallet that they had bought the two of them.
"My god you did not need to get us something like this!" Mitchell said, holding the wallet with wide eyes, while Cam was biting back a squeal. Both of the wallets were perfect, picked for the two of them and were just right.
Haley was REALLY good at matching colors and fitting clothes to an aesthetic. She also knew everyone's taste in the family, and who should wear what, and who should get what and who would like what.
It was impressive, and a part of why Billie was very confident that her girlfriend would become a successful fashion designer in the coming years. It might take a bit of a trial and error, but Billie was confident that she would get it in the end. Especially if she gets some help from professionals.
"Nah, we had to get you at least something. It would have been rather rude if we didn't. And we got the entire family stuff, not just you two. And yes, that includes getting the others stuff like a Hermès item" Billie said, waving off their concern for their spending, and how much they must have spent on the wallets.
"Do I even want to know how much you spent on all of them?" Mitchell asked with a sigh.
"Probably not" Haley replied bluntly, knowing that the total cost was most likely at least double the amount of what he made in an entire year, if it wasn't double it was like 1.5x. That was just how much they spent on all the gifts and other stuff.
"So, where are you going after this? Your moms?" Cam asked, as Haley shook her head.
"No, we're going to go to Grandpa Jay's first and then to moms. We figured it'd be best to leave them for last in the off chance that Alex or Luke is out like it seems they are" Haley answered, making the both of them glance at each other.
"Probably for the best. You might not know, but your mom has been kind of freaking out while you've been gone, even if she has done her best to hide that fact" Mitchell said, remembering his sister's rants about whether or not Haley is okay or safe in Paris.
"Gonna be honest, that is not even remotely surprising" Billie said bluntly, not looking surprised at all. Claire was always freaking out in some form or another, and rarely ever was calm and relaxed. And that was mostly when she was alone, and getting a massage or something.
Haley was one of the biggest sources of stress for Claire, alongside Luke and Phil.
"Don't let Claire hear you say that" Mitchell replied with a snort, as they began to slowly devolve into talking about Paris and what they had done there.
All the while, Billie had only one thought on her mind.
'I wonder how the rest of the family will react?'
