Chapter 261 - 261. “I’m Raana Kaname’s Grandmother...”

Beside Shiina's older sister, Mrs. Nagasaki looked at Soyo onstage, an uncontrollable smile appearing on her face as well.

Although she was not exactly a very qualified mother, Soyo truly had good fortune to meet such a wonderful group of children as friends.

And she had even found a boy she liked.

Still, thinking about this caused Mrs. Nagasaki to frown slightly.

Although she genuinely liked Kamijou Mutsuki and was very satisfied with this prospective son-in-law.

According to what she understood, Kamijou Mutsuki seemed ambiguously involved with quite a few girls in the band.

Especially that child from the Wakaba family, who apparently was even Kamijou Mutsuki's fiancée.

However, once she recalled her daughter's extremely yuri-like behavior in the anime, she suddenly stopped minding quite so much.

Because of Soyo, she had specifically gone out of her way to learn about MyGO!!!!! recently.

Online, she had seen all those "Soyo x Sakiko" fans, "Soyo x Mutsumi" fans, and even "Anon x Soyo" fans—she simply could not bear to look!

Kamijou Mutsuki might be a little flirtatious, but he truly was excellent, enough to qualify as a high-quality man.

Ultimately, it was a good thing that Soyo had a boy she liked.

Children and grandchildren would have their own fortunes. As an elder, she should stop overthinking things!

Compared to Mrs. Nagasaki, however, Anon's parents looked at their daughter with expressions full of relief.

Back when Anon had fled back from Britain, they had been extremely worried.

They had feared she would not be able to endure the blow and would become some gloomy shut-in girl who wore unfashionable pink tracksuits, stayed locked in her room all day, and could not even properly speak with others.

Yet unexpectedly, Anon not only avoided making them worry, she had even formed a band and stood upon the Budokan stage.

It seemed they no longer needed to worry about Anon's future anymore, though unfortunately this meant they would have to reject that old friend overseas.

Their Anon was going to become a huge star in the future—she did not need to study intelligent construction engineering with her!

Lastly came Tomori's parents. Watching their daughter passionately singing onstage, the expressions on their faces became somewhat absent-minded as well.

They had never imagined that their daughter—whose personality was somewhat unusual and who had always seemed incompatible with most people—could shine so brightly like this now!

As though she had transformed from a small pebble by the roadside into a star in the sky!

However, Tomori's mother suddenly seemed to recall something, and her mood became somewhat worried.

She remembered that her daughter seemed to like the band's manager, that boy named Mutsuki.

In fact, she had even misunderstood things because of that before!

Of course, it was not that she opposed Tomori being together with Kamijou Mutsuki.

With her daughter's personality, she would already be satisfied if some ordinary boy with a good personality was willing to like her.

But on Kamijou Mutsuki's side...

The competition felt somewhat intense!

Although Tomori was cute-looking, her personality truly was rather peculiar.

People should not think that being cute alone made those things unimportant.

In this country, if you failed to fit in, then even a beautiful girl could still become someone excluded or even bullied.

Fortunately, Tomori attended Haneoka Girls' School, where there were basically no bad people around.

With her personality, even being cute still greatly affected how others evaluated her!

Not to mention, which one of Tomori's teammates was inferior to her in appearance?

As for personality, there was even less need to mention it. For example, she had heard that Chihaya Anon even had some nickname like "Saint Anon," and she was also extremely likable.

If she had feelings for Kamijou Mutsuki, then her progress was probably already far ahead of everyone else.

Especially compared to her own Tomori, who would definitely be left far behind without even being able to see the others' backs.

And then there was Nagasaki Soyo.

What boy could possibly resist a girl who was gentle, considerate, beautiful, and had such a good figure?

If she truly made a move, Tomori definitely would not stand a chance!

When she got intimate with Kamijou Mutsuki, her Tomori would probably only be able to watch pitifully from the side.

Thinking of this, Tomori's mother could not help feeling somewhat heartbroken for her daughter.

And then there was Tomori's former teammate, Sakiko Togawa, who was said to have an ambiguous relationship with Kamijou Mutsuki as well...

Therefore, even Tomori's mother could only pray for her daughter's romance at this point.

However, what she did not know was that her daughter was soon about to pull off something huge.

At the Budokan venue, as one song after another echoed from the stage, the atmosphere below the stage became increasingly heated.

Because this was a full solo concert, the physical stamina consumed was incomparable to their previous Lives.

Besides MyGO!!!!!'s original songs and that song, Stellaris, Kamijou Mutsuki had even specially written several additional songs for them.

Still, the girls had clearly prepared for this in advance. Although they were breathing somewhat heavily toward the latter half, none of them showed signs of running out of stamina.

Especially Anon. Feeling the passionate enthusiasm of the fans below the stage, she still had enough energy left to wave at them, while her gaze continuously drifted toward the direction where her parents were seated.

"So, what do you think of this band?"

Just as Kamijou Mutsuki was admiring Tomori and the others' performance, someone beside him suddenly spoke up.

Kamijou Mutsuki turned his head—

And then saw an elderly version of Raana Kaname.

Of course, she did not actually resemble her to that absurd extent.

At the very least, this grandmother did not possess Raana's heterochromatic eyes, and mixed into her silver-white hair was a streak of pink highlight that differed slightly in shade.

"Kid, I assume you know who I am,"

Raana's grandmother introduced herself to Kamijou Mutsuki.

"I'm Raana Kaname's grandmother."

Hearing this oddly familiar phrasing, Kamijou Mutsuki subconsciously tilted his head back slightly.

He was half-afraid Raana's grandmother would follow it up with something like, "How exactly is your band educating Raana? She called me a big—"

Fortunately, nothing of the sort happened. Catgirl clearly would not say such vulgar things.

"So it's Grandma!"

Kamijou Mutsuki replied.

"Hello, Grandma. I'm Kamijou Mutsuki, Raana's manager."

Who are you calling Grandma, brat?

Raana's grandmother instantly frowned upon hearing that, though she did not bother arguing with him over it.

"Kid, what do you think about your current band?"

"I'm watching it while sitting down."

"?"

"Kid, stop playing dumb."

Raana's grandmother could not help her expression darkening slightly. This was the first time she had encountered a young person like this.

"Do you think this band can really continue on like this?"

"What's wrong with it?"

"...Don't tell me you're going to claim you don't know that all the girls in the band have feelings for you."

As Raana's grandmother—and also a former musician herself—

There was no way she would not care about or investigate the matter of her granddaughter finally finding a place she belonged.

But once she started looking into it, problems immediately surfaced.

Leaving aside the soap-opera-like drama in the anime, based on her understanding and observations from the previous two Lives—

Other than Raana, practically every girl in MyGO!!!!! had feelings for Kamijou Mutsuki.

Even Raana herself had only narrowly escaped because she did not yet understand that kind of thing.

How could this possibly be allowed?
