In the days Kenshin was away, Kasumi seriously took to training the children, especially her eldest son. By her account, Fifteenth was a genius who'd learned wall-walking in literally two days just a week ago. Controlling chakra was no challenge for him, so Kasumi started teaching him shadow manipulation.
Though he hadn't achieved tangible results yet, day by day he improved chakra control. His natural element was water, just like Kasumi's. Though she wasn't a suiton specialist, she could use a few basic techniques and taught her eldest one of them.
In three days, Fifteenth mastered "Suiton: Suijinheki"—a primitive water barrier technique, but highly effective for defense, especially against fire techniques. Kasumi couldn't stop marveling at Fifteenth's progress and kept saying he'd be one of Nara clan's geniuses without issue.
After family dinner that evening, Kenshin announced he'd go for another treatment session tomorrow, and enrolled Fifth and Sixth in team one, ordering intensive training and coordination—which was easy thanks to limited telepathy. Currently, Kenshin's sons could communicate up to thirty meters, and the range kept growing. Kenshin linked it to his strengthening psionic powers and was very pleased.
He scheduled the first team's next mission in three days, reiterated training orders, and retired to the lounge.
All evening, the girls hovered around Kenshin, offering help with daily tasks, constantly trying to caress and comfort him. Kenshin knew they'd missed intimacy and wanted more children. Over a week without attention, Natsumi and Aya conspired to caress him with clear hints.
Unfortunately, Kenshin was too drained to oblige. By evening's end, Kasumi gave him a relaxing massage, and he fell asleep on the living room sofa till morning.
Waking early on day 230, Kenshin first shuffled to the shower. Washing via telekinesis was utterly unfamiliar, but spending extra time, he managed and went to the kitchen for breakfast.
"Good morning, darling," Kenshin said, kissing Natsumi on the lips. She was sipping tea with pastry, and he licked some cream from her cherry lips.
"Morning. Sleep well?" Natsumi asked tenderly.
"Better than last night, but nothing beats sleeping in my favorite girl's arms," he whispered with a smile, kissing her again.
Natsumi purred contentedly and stroked the bulge in his pants, looking into his eyes.
"Not now, darling. Got an iryonin session. Maybe after I get back?"
"Good, but promise that when you recover, you'll fuck us all until we pass out! Aya secretly confessed to me that she dreams of you taking her roughly..." Natsumi giggled, betraying her best friend.
"Hm? Good, I promise." He smiled, and pecked her on the lips, then sat down beside her, ordered himself scrambled eggs with bacon, and began to eat breakfast.
After breakfast, Kenshin took Ichiro with him as a bodyguard, and headed to the outpost, arriving at eleven in the morning. At the hospital reception desk, he once again ran into that same "intern," who glared disapprovingly and asked grudgingly, "Something you need?"
"Yes, I have a treatment session scheduled with Hitomi-san." Kenshin said calmly.
"That's impossible. You must have overheated in the sun and imagined it. Hitomi-sama doesn't take random patients. The fact that she patched up a stray dog a bit doesn't mean that dog has the right to come whenever it feels like it."
Hearing that directed at him, Kenshin began to boil. He had no idea why this intern was suddenly acting so arrogant, but he wasn't going to tolerate it.
"I'd advise you to watch your words, or you might mistake a stray dog for a full-grown wolf." Kenshin said with a predatory smile, his eyes flashing.
"You think you're the full-grown wolf?" The iryonin assistant laughed. "Trash with broken arms. Leave on your own, or should I throw you out by force?!"
"I'd like to see you try." Unable to endure the insults toward his father, Ichiro said, and took a step forward. He was literally "burning," radiating the aura of a shinobi ready for battle.
"Enough." Hitomi said authoritatively, emerging from the corridor, and turned her gaze to the wayward assistant. "Naoki, how dare you talk to patients like that?!" She hissed, incredibly irritated.
"H-Hitomi-sama, he's not a patient. Besides, he tried to sneak into the hospital by making up a story about having a treatment session with you!" Naoki tried to justify himself. Truth be told, he didn't dismiss the possibility that Kenshin wasn't lying, but he refused to believe such nonsense. Hyuga Hitomi had denied individual treatment to many shinobi of Jonin rank, let alone a commoner without chakra.
"It's not your place to chase away patients. Seems like sitting in one spot is doing you more harm than good, so today I'll talk to Minori-san about transferring you to the morgue." Hitomi ordered authoritatively. She was furious at this useless subordinate who had nearly driven away one of the few people she enjoyed talking to.
"What?! B-but..." Naoki began, but immediately fell silent under his boss's blazing gaze.
"Nakayama-kun, follow me. Accept my apologies for what happened." Hitomi said with a smile, and bowed lightly.
At that moment, Naoki nearly fainted. He'd never seen her so courteous with anyone.
Kenshin nodded with a smile, and followed the beautiful woman, turning back to the intern at the last moment and saying, "Naoki, check your eyes while you're at it. Seems you can't tell stray dogs from full-grown wolves." And with a smile, he followed the beauty from the Hyuga clan, enjoying the sway of her seductive, plump hips.
