On the 157th day, another batch of blue sage ripened, so Kenshin's sons and wives could finally drink the decoction daily without shortage worries. Natsumi had long been methodically teaching Aya to awaken her chakra, and with blue sage tea, progress sped up a bit. Aya felt small chakra flickers in her lower abdomen, but not enough yet for "awakening" and subsequent body reproduction.
On the 159th day, Kenshin impregnated his wives again, but the planned tenth level didn't come. A bit disappointed at first, he decided not to mope and figured he'd get it after the Eleventh and Twelfth were born.
On the 161st day, a joyful event occurred. Ichiro finally awakened a second tomoe in his Sharingan!
Kenshin and Aya were incredibly proud of their son, and everyone else sincerely congratulated Ichiro on the magnificent achievement. Kenshin spent the day running numerous tests on Ichiro's second tomoe and reached several stunning conclusions.
First—Ichiro's vision sharpened further. His eyes caught movements the body couldn't react to. He saw chakra more clearly and in detail, and technique memorization improved exponentially. Glancing at Natsumi's "Katon: Hosenka no Jutsu," he instantly replicated the spell. Though he'd mastered 90% already, the instant repeat impressed everyone, and Aya's children burned with desire to awaken their Sharingan, hoping they'd inherited it like their amazing big brother.
Second—Ichiro's spatial abilities strengthened again. He could now teleport objects seven meters from the target instead of five, and learned to slightly alter the angle of teleported items. Before, only distance changed, not trajectory, making Ichiro even deadlier. Throwing a shuriken at the enemy's left shoulder, he could not only teleport it but also tweak the path to pierce the heart.
Kenshin lamented lacking a genjutsu master. Natsumi knew only basic dispel methods, more than enough to make illusions hard on his sons. With constant mental links among brothers, genjutsu was easy to detect and dispel. But properly casting Sharingan genjutsu wasn't feasible without a proper teacher—Ichiros would need years to master illusions alone, unacceptable.
Kenshin also lamented the inability to use "shadow clones." When he asked Natsumi, she blinked in confusion and admitted she'd never heard of such a technique. Per her, no "shadow" clones existed—only elemental ones, all at least B-rank, used mostly by Jonin or exceptionally talented Chunin. Pondering clones, she mentioned rumors that all Nine-Tails Jinchuriki used massive clone numbers thanks to Kyuubi's immense chakra handling 90% of the control load for such a horde.
Recalling that talk, Kenshin mentally cursed Kishimoto for distortions and sighed deeply.
"Of course Genin can't use clones! Obviously, they lack chakra and ability to split consciousness into a separate body. A Genin's brain would burn from overload... I should've figured it out myself instead of relying on laptop screen data!" He mused, heading from the gym to the bedroom where two beautiful girls in sheer negligees awaited.
The following days were routine, everyone tending family-benefiting tasks. Kenshin reinforced old formations and set new ones against further invasions. Now with solid knowledge, he maximized survival and victory odds even against multiple Chunin. Thus, disorientation formations, auditory and visual hallucination arrays everywhere, plus numerous pits with reinforced stakes invisible to outsiders at least until Jonin rank.
Aya finally awakened her chakra core and doubled in strength at minimum. In free time, she learned basic chakra manipulation from Natsumi, aiming to give future kids extra talent points at least.
All Kenshin's sons trained nearly constantly, stopped drinking plain water for only blue sage tea, and results came fast. The Seventh and Eighth quickly mastered tree and water walking; the Fifth and Sixth learned fireball. The Nakayama family's power grew rapidly.
On the 168th day, the Ninth and Tenth finally came of age and were sent to the gym where older brothers trained actively. Days earlier, Kenshin overhauled the gym, reinforcing it stronger.
All bags and makiwara were enhanced 5, 10, and 20 times, mainly durability and weight, so sons could train with boosted strength without breaking them one hit. Ichiro, nearing Chunin rank, could already snap thin trees with a kick, so the "upgrade" thrilled him.
Nearly all dumbbells and weights were reinforced and weighted too. The heaviest bar now 1.5 tons, unliftable by anyone. Ichiro predictably held the lifting record, casually hoisting 700 kg. His eldest son's strength times speed awed Kenshin. Ichiro could punch small rock chunks from cliffs without much consequence. Kenshin figured at current level, Ichiro could shatter a one-meter boulder but badly damage his hand.
Per Kenshin's observations, physical durability lagged far behind strength here but was still terrifying. At Ichiro's state, shuriken thrown by Kenshin from 30 meters barely harmed, sticking just millimeters into skin. But a kunai strike remained effective—though for Chunin-level shinobi, normal human speed was no threat. In tests, Ichiro tracked all Kenshin's moves even sans Sharingan, while Kenshin barely noticed Ichiro vanishing from front to behind.
The Ninth and Tenth's training fell to the Third and Fourth. Ichiro, strongest and most talented son, lacked time for basic chakra training, so duty went to younger brothers.
The Ninth and Tenth were a bit upset, but Kenshin ignored it, realizing with growing kids, status stratification would form inevitably—not always elders over juniors. He knew a "normal" Natsumi child couldn't match one from elite Jonin or Kage-level kunoichi.
