Waking up at nine in the morning, Kenshin silently got dressed and left the room. On the first floor, he met the smiling and accommodating Keiko, exchanged a few words with her, promised to visit her personally sometime, and calmly left the brothel.
After strolling around the city, he stopped by several shops, bought some things, had breakfast at a local diner, and leisurely headed beyond the city limits.
Leaving the city behind, Kenshin headed toward the rocky hills three kilometers from the city, in the opposite direction from the road home. Walking along the hills, he discreetly slipped behind some large rocks and, choosing a convenient position, began to wait.
After two and a half hours of waiting, he heard a distinct cuckoo bird call and peeked out from behind the rock. Seeing Natsumi, he quietly caught her attention and beckoned her over. The girl reached him in a few moves, and he enveloped her in an embrace.
"How did it go? Was anyone following you?" Kenshin asked, enjoying the scent of his second wife.
"Everything's fine. I got the money from that old hag and said I needed to go shopping. I promised to return in the evening and left."
"Good, then let's go." Kenshin commanded, and they carefully made their way through the hills, then took a big detour to reach the forest and got lost in it.
"But where are we going?" Natsumi asked. Truth be told, she didn't care as long as she was with her beloved, but her feline curiosity wouldn't let her rest.
"We're going home to me. Or more accurately, 'home to us.'" Kenshin smiled, glancing at Natsumi's cute face, unable to resist, and kissed her on the lips.
Natsumi moaned softly and returned the kiss, letting Kenshin's insistent hands wander over her toned body. She was wearing a classic shinobi outfit: a thin T-shirt, a vest with lots of pockets, tight black pants, and sturdy boots with cutouts for the toes, providing ventilation in such a hot climate.
After several minutes of passionate caresses, Kenshin let go of the girl and spent the rest of the way back asking about her life.
Natsumi had been a disobedient and feisty girl her whole life, so her parents sent her to a small shinobi academy in Shukuba city. Natsumi graduated from the academy without much trouble and became a Genin, joining a team of three people and a Chunin captain.
When she was fourteen, her father died of fever, and a year later, her mother followed. After her parents' death, Natsumi withdrew even more into herself and became more aggressive, immersing herself in D- and C-rank missions until a few months ago, when her teammate died. It wasn't her fault, but against all reason, she blamed herself.
The mother of the deceased teammate only fanned the flames, pressuring the girl's sense of guilt and extorting all her saved money as compensation. Over time, the pressure intensified, and without realizing it, Natsumi ended up in an elite brothel for kunoichi. For the two weeks she "worked" there, she hadn't had a single client. Her aggressive nature wouldn't let anyone she didn't like get close.
After Kenshin made her his, her mind suddenly cleared, and she realized that all this time, the "grieving" mother of the dead team member had been slowly manipulating her with genjutsu, exploiting a gap in the girl's emotional defenses to amplify her guilt.
Natsumi was furious at the old crone and wanted revenge, but that desire paled in comparison to her need for Kenshin. She had already forgotten her old life and was ready to go to the ends of the earth just to be with the man of her dreams, the one who needed her.
Having heard her story, Kenshin hugged her and whispered:
"Now everything will be fine. We're together, and that's what matters!" he declared, kissing her sweet lips.
Natsumi just moaned joyfully into Kenshin's mouth, and they continued on. Along the way, Kenshin described what awaited her, and she was shocked to learn she would give birth in two weeks and that Kenshin already had one wife and an adult son. The young twenty-year-old girl's mind couldn't comprehend such miracles, but she trusted Kenshin unconditionally and eagerly awaited the birth of their baby.
Since childhood, deep down, Natsumi had dreamed of a big, loving family and having many children, but all the guys she met in real life didn't satisfy the young beauty. Only meeting Kenshin did she truly fall in love and was ready to bear him as many children as he wanted.
By five in the evening, Kenshin and Natsumi finally reached the foot of the mountain where their now shared home was. The girl offered several times to carry him on her back and get there much faster, but Kenshin categorically refused. He mentally lamented why he hadn't gotten a combat system and now even his wives were stronger than him.
When Kenshin led her into a dark, blind cave, Natsumi frowned slightly, not understanding where he was taking her. But when symbols on the cave ceiling lit up, forming a large mosaic that illuminated the entire cave, Natsumi couldn't hide her shock. A minute later, when what seemed like a dead-end wall slid aside, Natsumi was stunned. And when she stepped over the threshold of her new "home," she covered her mouth with her small palm, unable to comprehend where she had ended up.
And though as a shinobi, the girl had encountered many "miracles" and visited beautiful houses, the sight before her was unlike anything she'd ever seen. It was as if she'd entered another world or a dreamland, brought there by her "wonderful prince." She dazedly began turning her head, examining the beautiful wallpaper, wonderful parquet, magnificent interior doors with the most beautiful glass, and only then noticed the young girl standing two steps away and the young man peeking out from another room.
