Chapter 187 - Chapter 187: Are You Blind?

"…"

The battle below was still continuing.

Zeig was clashing fiercely with Dan Heng, stick against sword, fighting with great intensity.

While fighting, he also had to deal with the unpredictable Seele, and March 7th's aim from behind was absolutely terrible—whenever he wasn't paying attention, bullets would come flying straight at him.

At the beginning, it was clearly Zeig and March 7th versus Seele.

Later, Zeig realized it had become Seele and March 7th versus him.

After the blond-disguised Dan Heng joined, the situation became even more chaotic.

Since there were now three people besides March 7th, she started shooting indiscriminately and completely turned into a neutral party.

But when it came to being sneaky and underhanded, the rebel side still took the crown.

Although March 7th was the one who accepted the duel invitation, she didn't play fair and brought Zeig along.

Seele also didn't play fair and brought teammates—right now two people were still watching from afar.

And on Zeig and March 7th's side, they actually also had hidden teammates…

On another hillside.

About a dozen or so rebels were each holding binoculars, watching the battle below.

"Hmph, those high-and-mighty people aren't all that great either. Look, even Seele brought helpers?"

"Don't underestimate them. Her helpers might not be just that blond guy!"

"Brother Dao, what you mean is…"

Soon, Bronya and Sampo jumped down and joined the fight.

The situation changed once again.

Since Bronya knew Zeig's identity, she started dueling March 7th head-on with sniper fire.

Meanwhile, Sampo joined the group attacking Zeig.

"Damn it! Why is everyone targeting me?! Don't you think that red-haired broom-head is an easier target?"

Zeig endured the fierce attacks from Seele, Dan Heng, and Sampo while complaining:

"Fuck, you guys really just love picking on me, huh?!"

Sampo wielded two curved blades, his flamboyant fighting style actually putting some pressure on Zeig.

Dan Heng attacked from the front, while Sampo and Seele looked for openings to flank and ambush. Their coordination wasn't flawless, but it still achieved the effect of 1+1+1 > 3.

"Heh, you're way harder to deal with than that guy. Besides, your teammate keeps accidentally hitting you from time to time! Obviously taking you out first is the priority, right? Hehehe!" Sampo grinned smugly.

He wasn't wrong.

Right now, the number of bullet holes on Zeig's back was actually greater than the number of hits from the three people attacking him in front.

If they were calculating total damage output, March 7th alone had already dealt more damage to Zeig than the combined total of these three!

"Damn it, you guys are so despicable! Bringing so many people… Seele, is this what you call a fair duel?!"

Seele curled her lip, swung her scythe, and clashed hard against Zeig's iron rod, producing a loud metallic sound. She replied carelessly:

"I think it's very fair. You brought people, I brought people. What's unfair about it?"

"Then what about this blond guy? Did you call him too?"

"Yeah, I ran into him on the way here. He said he's from the upper district, that he received Belobog's grace and wanted to repay the nation, so he insisted on coming with us!"

At this moment, the blond-disguised Dan Heng gripped his sword tightly with both hands and delivered a powerful slash against Zeig's iron rod. He spoke with righteous conviction:

"For the peace and stability of Belobog, slaying evildoers is naturally our duty."

"Fuck, you look like a damn thug with that yellow hair, is it really appropriate to talk so seriously?!"

Sampo swung both curved blades forward in a wide arc, forcing Zeig to leap backward.

Sampo grinned wickedly:

"Heh heh, that's why I said he's not flashy enough!"

Zeig turned to look at Sampo again:

"And you! Weren't you also put on the wanted list? Why are you helping them?!"

Did this bastard actually get recruited into the official ranks?

"I didn't want to either, but they said as long as I perform well, all my past crimes will be forgiven, and they even got some Silvermane Guard kicked out for me. How could I not be tempted?"

The fight on this side was intense and chaotic.

On the other side, however, it was eerily quiet.

March 7th carried a sniper rifle and sneaked into the snowy forest, with Bronya closely following behind.

The two kept exchanging sneaky shots while chasing each other.

Every time Bronya's bullet was about to hit March 7th, it would mysteriously deviate from its trajectory.

As if it had grazed some invisible transparent shield.

And whenever March 7th's bullet was about to hit Bronya, it would always just barely miss her.

This wasn't because Bronya had any special ability—it was purely because March 7th was a human aimbot when it came to missing shots.

But… when shooting at Zeig, her accuracy was freakishly precise.

Bronya fired another shot.

Bang—!!

She spoke gravely to March 7th ahead:

"Give up resisting. Our Silvermane Guard army is on the way. You won't be able to escape!"

"Huh?"

March 7th's hair swayed as she flew into a rage:

"You guys are too shameless, aren't you? We only brought a few extra people, and you guys brought a whole army and still have the nerve to talk about a one-on-one?!"

"For terrorists attempting to overthrow the Belobog regime, we don't need to be so particular."

"Ptooey—!! I hate that excuse the most!"

The current situation was:

Bronya knew the gray-haired one was Zeig, but she didn't know the red-haired one was March 7th, nor did she know the blond one was Dan Heng.

Zeig and March 7th also didn't know that the blond was Dan Heng.

The reason was simple: this blond guy looked way too much like a delinquent thug and had zero resemblance to the Dan Heng they imagined!

As for why Zeig and March 7th could recognize each other at first glance—it was simply because the two knew each other too well.

The two of them frequently fought and bickered, while Dan Heng was usually very normal, so they lacked experience "reading" him.

Even now, Dan Heng still hadn't realized who this gray-haired guy in front of him actually was.

On the snowy ground.

Zeig was being forced to retreat step by step by three absolute bastards.

Suddenly—

Bang—!!

Another bullet slammed into Zeig's back, causing him to freeze for a moment before slowly turning his head.

In the forest behind him, March 7th was still exchanging fire with Bronya.

They were very far from Zeig.

Zeig reached behind his back and pulled out a long, thin bullet. No matter how you looked at it, it had to be from March 7th's gun.

"Holy shit… she hit me from that far? Did she turn on aimbot?"

Bang—!!

"…"

Bang—!!

"…"

Bang—!!

"o.O?"

Zeig held the iron rod in one hand and swung it so fast in front of himself that it left afterimages! With just one hand he could withstand the pressure coming from Seele, Dan Heng, and Sampo.

But his other hand kept digging bullet after bullet out of the holes in his back.

"…"

While they were fighting—

Sampo suddenly stopped moving.

Blond Dan Heng couldn't help but glance at Sampo behind him and asked in confusion:

"What's wrong?"

Sampo spread his hands:

"Our combined damage output isn't even as high as his teammate's!"

"…"

"Fuck!" Zeig cursed, then directly picked up his iron rod and charged toward March 7th in the forest.

"Goddamn it, are you blind?!"
