He had just been in the room with Yenndo and Bonnet. Then, suddenly, he was elsewhere; the transition was instantaneous, like blinking and finding himself in a different room. The office chair creaked beneath him with every minor movement, old leather peeling against his back. Faded promotional posters of Fredbear and Spring Bonnie stared unsettlingly at him. The desk in front of him was cluttered with old papers, illuminated by a single flickering bulb overhead.
Fredbear's Family Diner. The memories of this place were the second thing he hated, after William.
The office here was about the same size as the one at Freddy's, where he'd recently been fired. There were two doors in the office—one leading backstage, the other to the kitchen. Neither had locks, and there wasn't enough to barricade them.
Mike knew clearly it was all just in his mind; if he had to guess, the room must have been rigged with that hallucinogenic gas, more of William's tech.
Mike picked up the security tablet that was next to the clock that read 12 am to look through the camera.
In the kitchen, the pots and pans were hanging from hooks; everything seemed old and dirty. There was also the janitor closet filled with things, and there was a small stage for two animatronics.
There was also the main area, and the stage was the same as he had remembered it, and right on it was none other than Fredbear, a golden bear with a purple hat and bow tie, with a microphone in hand and standing right next was Spring Bonnie holding its guitar in hand.
But something was terribly wrong with them. Switching to a closer camera for a better view, he realized they looked to be rather occupied, like there was someone inside both of them and they wanted him dead. Fredbear's head turned slowly toward the camera, looking at him with that vengeful look.
"Michael, is that you?" The voice coming from the animatronic or Michael's own head was childish and rather quiet; it was Garrett.
Spring Bonnie's head turned toward the camera shortly after. "Hello, Michael." Cold and amused. William.
"I've been waiting so long," Garrett said, now speaking in a more aggressive tone. "You are the reason I died. You and your friends did this to me. I hope you haven't forgotten that."
And in just a few minutes, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie left the stage, starting to make their way to the office.
Mike checked the cameras and his surroundings; something strange would be happening, not the animatronics moving but either hearing faint noises of kids or the poster of Fredbear changing to a strange yellow Freddy.
In the dining room, Mike could see the exit; he wasn't sure if he should make a run for it, but it seemed pointless when nothing around him was real; even if he tried, where would it lead? The only way to deal with this is to hold out in the office long enough for Bonnet and Yenndo to wake him, or wait for the nightmare to burn itself out.
Looking through the cameras and making sure to keep the doors closed when they got too close, the pace was getting faster, and they were getting relentless.
Mike could faintly hear Bonnet and Yenndo trying to figure out what to do and how to wake Mike up, something about it not working and someone not having a better idea, so they should stop complaining.
Fredbear appeared in the backstage camera. Mike bolted to the door just ahead and slammed it shut. Their loud footsteps could easily be heard from the other side, along with the rasping sound of their breathing.
"How could you do such a thing?" Garrett whispered. "You alone are to blame for everything."
"I know you're not real, so just stop."
He quickly moved towards the other door, hearing Spring Bonnie there quickly shutting it.
"Would that include your apologies by any chance?" Spring Bonnie's voice was William's, cold and amused. "You don't seem to know what's real, Mike."
Mike could hear William laughing from somewhere. He opened it to check, and the kitchen was empty, so he quickly went back to the tablet.
Spring Bonnie was in the janitor's closet, but Fredbear was keeping Mike a little too busy.
Seeing Fredbear at the right door with blood dripping from its mouth and from the open mouth, Mike could see eyes; he slammed it shut quickly.
Checking the cameras, Spring Bonnie was already near the left door; the time was now 3 a.m.
Mike bolted toward the door, shutting it.
"You can't hide from what you've done, Michael." William snarled from behind the door. "Everything is your fault, remember, Jeremy? Everyone close to you seems to die; how pathetic does that sound?"
"How could I ever forget?"
Back to the camera, four hours had ticked by, but neither of them showed any signs of slowing down; if anything, it seemed they were getting more desperate to tear Mike apart.
Spring Bonnie on the camera, standing in the dining area staring right at him. "Come out, Michael. We're having such a lovely family reunion."
He crossed the room and slammed the kitchen door shut. Fredbear had started showing up there.
"I died because of you," Garrett whispered. "Because you wanted to scare me, so tell me, are you afraid yet?"
5:00 AM. One hour left. He just had to hold on; hopefully something would happen that would take him away from here or wake him up.
Both of them were moving faster now; luckily, he could still keep up with them.
"You're just like him, you know." Garrett's voice, much colder and bitter now. "You hurt people too. You just don't want to admit it; you're the reason why our sister died."
Just a little longer and hopefully he would wake up. He wasn't ready to spend another hour with them, and this place was tearing his mind apart.
"You won't be leaving this place," William said. "This is where you belong now. I intend to keep you here. You don't deserve to leave so soon."
"No thanks," Mike replied. Everything around him started to bend and shift again.
The clock ticked to 12:00. Picking up the tablet again to look at the camera, both of them were standing back on stage.
Mike stared at the display and leaned back in the chair, letting out a dry chuckle. "You have got to be kidding me."
He didn't know how long he would be trapped here, or if Yenndo and Bonnet were trying to wake him. He hoped so, but it didn't seem like he was waking up anytime soon.
