Andrey felt Lumy's chest pressing against his as they clung to each other in the dark water. The thin fabric of her blouse was soaked through, clinging to her skin, and beneath it, the outline of her bra was faintly visible through the wet material. He quickly averted his gaze, forcing himself to focus on the situation at hand.
"We need to get out of here before we get pulled under again," he said, his voice low and urgent.
Lumy nodded, her fingers still gripping his arm tightly. "Agreed."
They pushed forward through the murky water, Lumy staying close to Andrey, her hand resting on his shoulder for balance. The marsh was eerily quiet, the only sounds the soft splash of their movements and the distant, mournful cry of unseen birds.
But Andrey's Ki senses were screaming a warning.
"Lumy, keep moving," he said, his voice tight with tension. "It's coming back."
Lumy's eyes widened, and she quickened her pace, her hand still gripping Andrey's shoulder. "Where?!"
