Sein slumped against Andrey, her body trembling, her breath coming in ragged, satisfied gasps. The qipao was slightly disheveled, the silk clinging to her sweat-slicked skin. She could barely keep her eyes open.
Andrey gently lifted her, carrying her to the bed and laying her down beside Lisa, who was still unconscious, a peaceful smile on her face. He pulled the blanket over both of them, his touch tender.
Sarah watched, her hands on her hips, a triumphant smirk spreading across her face. "Finally. Sein's down. I was starting to think she'd never run out of energy."
Morgana adjusted her glasses, her voice smooth and teasing. "It seems you were right, Sarah. She pushed herself too hard."
