Eric woke up to the sound of drawers slamming and frustrated muttering. He sat up in bed, looking at Mia. "What's going on, Babe?"
She looked up, her eyes narrowed. "I can't find my jeans."
Eric looked at the time. "It's 6am. Why do you need them?"
She sighed, sitting against the dresser.
"I want to go back home already." She grumbled. "We just got Liara back, and then had to come here less than a week later. The talks are done, and we know what to do. Let the politicians handle the political stuff."
Eric smirked as he walked over. He wrapped his arms around her, kissing her head.
"Okay. Let's go home then. I agree. We have been in desks and briefings more than changing diapers."
Eric texted Milano and informed him they would be heading home.
She leaned her head against his shoulder. "I miss moments like these."
"When all of this is over, we can have more of them." He responded, stroking her ears.
