An hour had passed since the raid on the Cave of the Ancient Moon began, and the attack had gone off without a hitch. The fourth and fifth floors and above had been obliterated by explosions, while the lower floors were engulfed in a frenzy of continuous fighting.
"Damn it, we're running behind. We need to move faster. Faster, work faster!" Harry roared at his subordinates, who were fighting and gathering intelligence at the same time.
In the distance, Edward and Gideon locked eyes once more.
"You've done an excellent job," Gideon said, patting him on the shoulder as he walked past.
Edward glanced at him sideways. "If you want to keep working with us, the information from this cave stays with me," he said.
Gideon smiled. "Do you think the 101st Regiment needs your help that badly, student Edward?"
"Yes." Edward was blunt.
