"I'm sorry, Supreme Alpha, but it's an emergency that doesn't concern you for as long as you remain in that state of mind," Matt said deliberately. He knew that saying something like this would upset Sebastian and make him more aware that his wife needed him to be sane, hopefully pushing him to fight harder and break free from whatever was holding him back from being beside her.
Just as predicted, Sebastian felt the jab of those words in his chest. He wished he could punch Matt, even though he knew the man was right.
"I have to go, Sebastian," Viola said, looking up at him and not wanting to go. She saw him give her a nod, but yet he didn't release her from his lap.
"Will you come back?" He asked her, wishing he could trust himself enough to get rid of the blindfold.
"As fast as I can, I will try to come back. I will send someone to bring you food, okay?" She said, running her hands all over him.
