Chapter 55 - Chapter 55: No Time for Mourning, the Frostblade Knight is Immediately Rushing to the Battlefield!

Jean didn't let Orion stay overnight; she didn't know what to say if someone saw Orion leaving her place the next morning.

But before he left, he was fiercely warned by Captain Jean, who had a very bad attitude.

"You must find a way to turn Barbara into a long-lived species too! Also, you need to come here once every two days—no, three days, three or four days! To prevent a relapse!"

Orion was furious, 'What do you take me for!'

"I'll get you next time!" Orion left a harsh remark, covered Jean with the quilt, mopped up the water on the floor (the pipe was broken), kissed Jean, locked the door with the spare key, put it in his pocket, and left.

Walking on the road, it was already past midnight, or rather, a new day had begun.

The streets of Mondstadt were almost empty, except for the Knights patrolling every now and then.

Orion walked alone on the street, the cold moonlight shining on the earth, but Orion knew that this moon was fake.

The real one was in his stomach.

Speaking of the moon, he just felt another gaze; who exactly was it? If you keep staring, I'm really going to track you across all of Teyvat!

As he walked, Orion suddenly saw a familiar person.

The Frostblade Knight, Eula, was sitting alone on a high wall, bathed in moonlight.

After Eula finished her Knights of Favonius duties, she returned home but couldn't calm down.

Whenever she was idle, she would think of the young man she had held a grudge against for no less than ten pages.

What's going on? Your curse is so serious, why didn't you say something beforehand?

Eula pulled out her small notebook and made a note.

After washing up, she lay in bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

She turned over, grabbed her small notebook from the nightstand, made another note, and then finally went to sleep contentedly.

Two hours later, Eula suddenly threw off her quilt and sat up.

"Why didn't you tell me! Is the curse fun or something?!"

Note it down! Note it down fiercely!

After noting it down, she couldn't sleep.

Unable to help it, Eula meticulously put on her clothes, deciding to go for a walk.

The brooch, the cape, not one could be missing; the etiquette of a noble could not be abandoned.

As she was bathing in the moonlight, she saw the usual passerby, Oult.

Orion and Eula's eyes met.

Oh no! A battle is about to begin.

Eula jumped down from the high platform and walked up to Orion: "Why aren't you home so late? Are you feeling better?"

Orion felt this scene was familiar, but he didn't want Eula to worry so much, so he replied: "I'm fine! Completely fine! If you don't believe me, look!"

Orion said as he lifted his clothes, and indeed, there wasn't a single black line texture.

Eula was relieved to see it: "That's good."

She pouted slightly and looked at Orion: "You... do you know there's a celebration tomorrow? Will you... will you have breakfast with me tomorrow morning, and then, then I'll take you around. Let me be clear! I'm not specifically taking you around! You, as an outsider, surely haven't experienced Mondstadt's festivals! As a noble of Mondstadt, I'll reluctantly show you around!"

Damn, what a classic tsundere!

The reason why the tsundere attribute is considered a 'moe' attribute instead of just being rude is because you can feel her using a lot of 'tsun' to cover up the final 'dere'.

Therefore, the more elaborate the 'tsun' part is embellished, the more she wants to hide the extent of her 'dere', which is a form of saying one thing but meaning another, one of the most ancient forms of contrasting cuteness.

Seeing such a genuine tsundere, Orion was about to agree, but then suddenly realized something and had to reluctantly refuse: "Um, I really want to accept your invitation, but tomorrow morning... I have something to do."

"Something to do?" Eula was startled: "Where are you going?"

"Uh... the church."

"To the church? Are you going to see Barbara?"

...Yes.

"To lift the curse?"

Orion: "..."

"Your curse isn't gone at all! You lied to me?" Eula instantly couldn't hold back; she could tell from his expression that Orion was avoiding her gaze.

Eula stepped forward, directly grabbed Orion's tie: "Come on! Come home with me!"

Orion:???

This scene, why does it feel so familiar?

Eula's family doesn't live in Mondstadt City; the Lawrence family was expelled, and since she escaped from her family, she naturally wouldn't return to live with them. And she didn't want to accept the Knights of Favonius' public housing because no one wanted to be her neighbor, so she rented a place outside.

Entering the rental house, she threw Orion onto a chair, and before Orion could even ask, she sat on his lap: "Didn't you say that if it were me, you'd let me sit on your lap?"

Orion was shocked: "Weren't you drunk then?"

"Drunk doesn't mean I lost my memory!" Eula blushed and glared at Orion, then sat further into Orion's embrace with a look of utter disdain.

Orion just felt, this is not simple.

Why do people call Jean 'Jean Butt-long'?

Because Eula wasn't implemented back then.

If she had been implemented, Jean wouldn't have stood a chance; in this area, there are no more than five people in Teyvat who could compete with Eula.

Eula sat in Orion's arms, feeling quite comfortable.

It's just... what is this feeling?

"What is this?"

"Holy crap!"

Orion's eyes widened; you're much more violent than Amber, she at least knew to ask and discuss it with Barbara.

How could you just go looking for it yourself like that?

Eula pondered for a moment; being older than Amber, she quickly understood, frowned, and looked back at Orion: "You like this?"

"...Mm, I like it very much." Orion answered truthfully.

"Can it lift the curse?"

"Yes, it absolutely can!"

Eula was silent for a moment, then steeled herself and kissed Orion on the mouth, but it was just a touch. Then she turned her head back and took a deep breath.

"Since you don't mind it being dirty, let's try it!"

An hour slowly passed.

Orion, feeling refreshed, said to Eula, who was lying on the bed: "I've treated you, you should be fine now."

Eula didn't speak; she just lay on the bed, her head buried in the pillow, and shook it.

But a moment later, she looked up and asked: "That kiss was my first kiss. What about yours? Was it your first kiss?"

Orion didn't answer; Lumine washed his Shota body every day, how could nothing have happened?

Eula understood, pouted, and said aggrievedly: "Scumbag!"

Orion didn't answer, he just hugged her.

But then, Eula asked again: "I smell the scent of Gunnhildr on you. Have you been to her place?"

...Yes.

"You and her too?"

...Mm.

"Both front and back?"

"No, she was just front."

"Hmph!" Eula turned her head away: "Then I'm considered the first too."

Orion and Eula hugged each other, sweet words pouring out. Eula kept her head turned, pretending to be angry, but she had actually been appeased by the kind words long ago. But she didn't want him to see the smile on her face, so she could only hold it in and not laugh out loud.

Orion saw Eula's trembling body and thought she was uncomfortable somewhere, so he hugged her even tighter.

Finally, Orion also told Eula about Crystal Creek Valley, and 'Immortality' and 'Long-Lived Species' also appeared on Eula's status panel.

Oh, and 'Riding Ex'. You can't spray about this one, she really did the riding.

Has anyone from Type-Moon ever ridden Oult?! (Shouting)

After half an hour of cuddling, Eula kicked Orion out of bed.

"Hurry up and go! If Amber comes to pick me up tomorrow morning, I won't know how to explain it to her!"

"She probably won't come tomorrow morning; she's waiting with Barbara to help me lift the curse."

"Then you go too! Let me rest!"

Orion mopped the floor again, preparing to leave.

He picked up her clothes from the floor for Eula, and just as he was about to get up, Eula's two long legs suddenly stretched out and locked around his neck. Orion looked up, and Eula was fiercely looking down at him.

"You figure out a way to make Amber a long-lived species too! Understand?! And don't let her know you were here tomorrow morning. Then... two days, no, three days, come over once every three or four days, and I'll help you lift the curse. Don't let it relapse, I... I'll feel... who would feel sorry for you!"

She kicked Orion again. She felt that if Orion saw her expression, it would be utterly embarrassing.

But in fact, Orion saw nothing; everything was blocked, unable to see his toes when looking down, and unable to see her chin when looking up.

Leaving the rental house, Orion walked on the street and looked at the sky.

It was past three o'clock.

It would be light soon.

"Forget it, I'll go back to the inn first. Skirk will definitely wake up if she hears noise, so I hope I don't disturb Lumine, Clara, and little Paimon's sweet dreams."

"Eh? Little hero? What are you doing here?"

Orion:...Orion slowly turned his head and saw Sister Lisa, dragging a bag of shattered scales, appear behind him.

Lisa also looked down, then shook the bag in her hand as if in realization: "Oh, these are the scales Dvalin dropped when you fought him. I found some for research. Do you want to come to my workshop to see?"

Orion was speechless.

Why does this plot feel so familiar?!
