Our pack was like every other out there. We had our traditions, and laws that must be kept like this very one. A Luna was expected to not only mingle with the people she was about to rule over, but also to perform certain rituals per each pack's traditions.
In Ironclaw, a circle would be drawn with silver and wolf's bane mixed together, the Luna would then kneel in that circle and swear before the moon goddess and the pack that she would look after her pack. Nurture it, heal it and grow it.
After which she and her Alpha would share a drink presented by the Alpha's mother with interlocked arms.
That wasn't all. The Alpha, me, will then do the final ritual where my Luna will be bonded to the pack through the mind link. She could communicate with anyone she wished to.
