I woke up feeling completely weightless, wrapped in a blanket of absolute warmth. I shifted slightly, my head resting comfortably against Allen's broad, bare chest, his strong arm anchored firmly around my waist. His steady breathing was like music to my ears and for a few quiet seconds, I just lay there in a hazy state of pure bliss, listening to his heartbeat.
