Ezra
Lilith knocked on the door again and called out, "Can I come in, Your Majesty?"
Allen started to speak but I panicked and kneed him right in the gut. He grunted, "Ouch. What was that for?"
"Why are you inviting him in when we're in this position?" I hissed, trying to wiggle free. "Let's fix ourselves up first. Come on, move."
Allen didn't budge. "No. I want him to see. I need the word to spread quickly that you're staying in my chambers."
I stared at him in disbelief. "It won't be surprising. Every alpha probably lays with multiple omegas every night. This doesn't count. Now get off."
"You're correct about that," Allen said calmly, his green eyes distracting me from pushing him away. "But you see, it's different for me. If people in the palace know that you're with me, they would respect you more. That way I won't have to always worry about you getting hurt."
Lilith shouted again from behind the door, louder this time. "Your Majesty, are you there?"
