Chapter 467 - Chapter 465: I’m Here to Help You

His body has been destroyed by energy, so it's up to you to deal with him. Kill him or imprison him, it's your decision. I have things to do and can come to Earth to play if I have time in the future.

Leaving that message, Adam disappeared from Titan.

Thanos and he had no grievances, at least not yet.

He came to deal with Thanos originally for Justice Points, but now it was to fulfill a promise.

So in the end, he spared Thanos's life. Whether to kill him or imprison him, it was up to Gamora and the others to decide.

Anyway, he had just used Supreme Power to destroy all of Thanos's cells. Even if he wasn't killed, he would only be a living dead man for the rest of his life, conscious and able to speak, but his body would no longer be able to move.

However, he felt that Thanos would be hard-pressed to escape death. Even if Gamora was willing to let him go, Nebula and Drax would not spare Thanos.

That was no longer his concern. What he needed to worry about now was receiving Spiral Power and integrating it into his Supreme Power system.

"Loading… Simon template!"

With Spiral Power upon him, memories of Simon began to flash through Adam's mind.

Born underground, he lost both parents due to an earthquake. Due to his innate talent for drilling, he was valued by the village chief and earned the nickname "Simon the Digger."

At the age of seven, he discovered the core drill, accidentally activated "Lagann," and followed his older brother Kamina out of the underground to the surface to explore. He joined the Dai-Gurren Brigade, fought against the Spiral King, and met Nia.

His beloved older brother Kamina died in battle. He defeated the Spiral King and became the leader of the Dai-Gurren Brigade, leading all humans to live on the surface and transforming the Spiral King's Teppelin into Kamina City, the human capital.

"Good, the beginning isn't directly a war with the Anti-Spiral."

After reviewing Simon's memories, Adam was slightly relieved.

If he had directly started a war with the Anti-Spiral and then thrown galaxies around like shurikens, there would have been a certain risk for him to jump in directly.

But now, having seen Simon's memories, the human population had not yet broken a million, and the Anti-Spiral's human annihilation system had not yet been activated, so the problem was not big, and everything was still in time.

In fact, as long as it wasn't directly against the Anti-Spiral Main unit, those powerful machines used to annihilate humanity posed no threat to Adam at all.

After the Spiral Being lost the war against the Anti-Spiral, they fled back to their respective Planets in disarray, barely surviving.

The Anti-Spiral then installed an annihilation system responsible for detection and corresponding powerful destruction machines above every Planet with Spiral Being life.

Once it detected that the number of Spiral life on that Planet exceeded one million, and the threat level escalated to Level Two, it would directly destroy all Spiral Being life on the entire Planet.

So those machines only had Planet-level destructive power. In Marvel terms, at most Skyfather level, he could crush them with a flick of his hand.

"Since it hasn't started yet, it's easy to handle."

Adam closed his eyes, cast the Dream Walking Technique, and then entered the World of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann through Primordial Space.

He planned to have a good talk with Simon, which would buy him more time and allow him to make more thorough preparations.

Kamina City, New Government Office.

"Spare me, Rossiu!"

Simon had just finished signing the documents in his hand, and seeing Rossiu bring another large pile of new documents to the desk, he immediately felt a bit overwhelmed.

As the Commander-in-Chief of the New Government, besides Training Spiral Power and training the Dai-Gurren Brigade, he also had to deal with a large number of documents and attend meetings. The former were things he was good at and enjoyed, so there was no problem, but he was not good at the latter at all, so it was a huge headache.

But there was no choice; for the New Government and their city, it had to be this way.

"These are all complaints from citizens: clogged sewers, taxes too high, noisy neighbors. They are truly free and willful; everyone seems to have forgotten what life was like in the underground caves."

Rossiu showed a slightly angry expression.

Simon smiled upon hearing this:

"Isn't this good? Wasn't our original goal precisely this, to let everyone live such a peaceful life?"

"Perhaps."

Rossiu replied noncommittally.

Seven years of comfortable life had made everyone forget the crisis of one million people that the Spiral King had spoken of, even Simon.

But he always remembered, and his heart was always filled with a sense of crisis.

That's why he secretly forced those humans who were unwilling to migrate from underground to the surface behind Simon's back, to facilitate population statistics. That's why he secretly preserved the Spiral King's head and developed a bio-computer, hoping to learn the truth of this World through it.

Fortunately, it was coming soon. The bio-computer would be successfully developed soon, and he would soon know what the crisis the Spiral King feared truly was.

"Who are you?"

Just as he was secretly pondering, he suddenly glanced over and noticed that an unfamiliar man had appeared behind Simon at some point.

"This is the Commander's office. How did you get in?"

Quickly drawing the energy gun from his waist, Rossiu pointed it behind Simon and demanded.

He knew almost all the staff of the New Government who could enter this office. Could it be someone from those anti-government guerrillas trying to assassinate Simon?

The anti-government guerrillas were mostly composed of remnants of the Spiral King's forces and some humans who were unwilling to obey orders and migrate to the surface.

"Rossiu, what's wrong? Who are you?"

Following Rossiu's gaze, Simon turned around, his face also showing a puzzled expression.

Adam replied with a smile:

"Don't be nervous. My name is Adam. I mean no harm; I'm here to help you."

"Help us? I think you can explain in jail why you appeared in the Commander-in-Chief's office."

Rossiu held the gun in one hand and pressed a button with the other, starting to summon the guards outside.

Soon, several guards wearing exoskeleton mechanical armor and holding energy guns rushed in.

Simon quickly said:

"Rossiu, don't do this. I think he probably means no harm. He might have just entered the wrong room. There's no need to put him in jail."

"Don't you want to know what the one million population crisis the Spiral King spoke of truly is?"

Looking at the approaching guards, Adam said calmly with his hands behind his back.

"Wait!"

Hearing Adam's words, Rossiu's body suddenly stiffened, and he stopped the guards. Simon also looked at Adam with a somewhat serious expression.

"Mr. Adam, do you really know what the Spiral King meant by those words back then?"

"That starts with the Anti-Spiral…"

Adam did not feign suspense but directly conjured a chair and began to talk about the Anti-Spiral and the Human Annihilation Plan.

By informing Simon and Rossiu of the truth in advance, they could make targeted defenses in advance, thereby avoiding falling apart as in the original story and gaining more time.

The main reason was that he could only stay in this World for one hour, and many things still needed Simon and Rossiu to cooperate to accomplish his planned goals.
