The dream came through the twin bond.
That's the thing I'm sitting with in the early morning, the specific quality of how I received it — not directly, not the full experience of the dreamspace in the way Aphrodite received it, but the secondary version, the emotional signature of a significant event running through the bond while I was in the recovery-sleep that my depleted reserves required. I felt the presence. I felt the quality of it — the gold warmth, the specific enormous quality of something divine presenting itself at human scale — and I felt the bond's response to it, which was recognition rather than surprise.
She knew who it was before the dream confirmed it.
