"Mama, why does Papa have to go? Can't he stay with us? Or can't we go with him?" Ce'ran asked.
Ren smiled. "Don't worry, it won't be for too long..."
The beast cubs were quiet. Ren could easily tell that they were sad.
Zuran bent down before Su'er and Yira, who were clearly sad, and smiled while patting their hair.
"Don't worry at all. We'll meet soon. And then we can practice as much as you want. Okay?" He asked.
They both nodded without saying anything.
The man in red had soon appeared, standing by the doorway. He didn't say anything. They all knew what was bound to happen from here.
Zuran got up to his feet and stared at Ren. "I'll be leaving now. See you soon, then." He waved at him.
Ren waved back with a smile. "Okay, then. See you."
And like that, Zuran turned and left with the man in red. The two of them soon disappeared into red dust while Ren and the beast cubs stood there, staring at the dust.
