KAABOOOM!
Percy stumbled back from the force of the magical explosion. Flames lapped at his body, but could not touch his supple, and perfect skin all thanks to the ethereal, golden armour that he was wreathed in entirely. Beneath this armour, he was wearing the simple comfort clothes of a T-shirt and sweatpants.
His armour took the form of an old style European Knights armour, equipped even with the eye slit despite the fact he could see through any part of it. The only unrealistic flair upon it, the type of thing that would drive history nerds crazy, was three pointed spikes sprouting from the face plate, making it look like he had a star stuck to his forehead.
Raising his shield, which was still manifesting over a pot lid, he blocked the bolt of lightning that streaked towards him and deflected it to the side, where it struck the metallic wall of the run way. Keeping his head down, he began to charge forwards, bracing himself for what he knew was going to come next.
