LEO'S POV
'You can't fight me forever'
The words hovered there
'Let me help you win'
Leo clenched his fist
He was still on his knees
Head low
'You have a greater purpose'
Leo started to shove the words from his mind
Trying to change his thoughts
"Why don't you fuck off?" He muttered
The words were disappearing
Until
'Fine!'
It started hijacking Leo's mind
He was having thoughts that might or might not be his
It was like they were merging
Leo clenched tighter
Knuckles going white
A bell continuously rang in his ears
Making his thoughts seem distant
Veins in his face bulged
He aggressively turned his head to the right
Then left
He put his right foot forward
Stomping the ground
Then
"Raaaaaaagh!" He roared
Autumn was startled
Thomas's POV [A moment Before]
Thomas aimed his hand at Lydia and Scott
Flames enveloped it
"No more games" He said
"Give us back the key"
Lydia clutched the staff tighter
Scott took a step In front of Lydia

Seeing this, Thomas's hands flared
"So be it"
The flames compacted into a dense sphere, humming with chaotic energy
Scott sighed deeply
With just one leg, he stepped further
Before Thomas knew it
Everyone was gone
He found himself rolling at tremendous speed
Breeze blowing hard around him as he rolled
Thomas gripped his hands in the dried earth
He still slid
But he stopped a few feet back
He found himself panting
Heart thumping with adrenaline
He looked at his hands, bruised from gripping the earth
His elbows, shin, knees and back were bruised too
He could feel it
The burning sensation on his right cheek
He scanned the area
Just ahead Scott stood
"Dammit!" Thomas muttered "What just happened?"
Autumn's POV
She watched as Thomas charged his attack
For a brief second she looked at Damian
Still in his blocking position.
He was getting conscious again
By the time Autumn looked back
A huge amount of air flew past her
She saw a faint blur of blue
The air almost blew her away
When she looked
Thomas was gone
Scott too
Before she could look around
She heard a laugh
"Gee." Dezmond said with a smirk
"This is gonna be an overkill"
He got up off the floor stretching
The ground started to shake slowly
"Water..."
Autumn looked infront
Damian stood there mumbling
"So hot..."
His eyes rolled back,
Shaking while still standing
"Water.."
The earth still shook
Even Dezmond and Lydia was confused
"What the?" Dezmond said
Suddenly a huge earth-made cup
Broke through the earth
It was way bigger than the teens
It gently turned over and started pouring water
On Damian
He opened his mouth
Drinking some
The cracks in the ground spewed water onto him like a geyser
He fell to his knees
Steam flowed off his red skin
Soon he was dripping
Eyes still shut, hair flat onto his head
"Thank you.." he says softly
The earth cup then crumbled
And the ground retracted to normal
He sat there still dripping
Sighing softly
Slowly he looked up at Autumn
She held her breath
He stood up
Everything got quiet
Except
"Raaaaagh!" Leo shouted, jumping up
Everyone froze
Leo looked around widely, breathing hard
First at Autumn
Then at Dezmond
Then Damian
"Raaagh!" He shouted
Leo dashed forward
Damian barely look up before the punched crashed into his jaw
Sending him rolling across the earth
Leo didn't waste anytime
He took one leap and landed beside Damian
"Oi! Fuck face" Dezmond shouted
He ran after Leo
Autumn watched as Dezmond ran pass her
Everyone was gone except
Lydia.
Both were looking as everyone disappeared
Autumn locked back onto Lydia
But Lydia already did so
Immediately her punch stretched and slapped Autumn across the face
Autumn took flight
But Lydia grabbed her leg
She swings the staff at Autumn
Autumn twisted under the blow midair
Autumn flew toward Lydia, pouncing onto her
Both fell to the ground with Autumn on top
Autumn punched
But Lydia stretched her face away
And Autumn punched the ground
She winced
But suddenly Lydia stretched and wrapped around Autumn completely
Trying to strangle her
Autumn flew up, going higher and higher
Lydia was still wrapped around her
At one point they were zigzagging then free falling
Before even going higher
They were high enough that the air got thin
Autumn got the chance and bit hard into her skin
"Aaaegh!" Lydia screamed letting loose of her neck
Autumn then punched her downwards
Lydia began to fall, the staff still in her hands
The ground was farther than she thought
She then bloated like a parachute
The staff as her anchor
Autumn was still high near a cloud
She was catching her breath
She looked and saw Lydia slowly descending
Autumn charged then dashed forward
Flying down towards her at immense speed
The air whipped around her
Both her fists were stretched outward towards Lydia
Boof!
She slammed into Lydia's back
The staff fell from her
Her parachute form turned inwards
Under Autumn's pressure
Autumn was still descending fast
It was so fast that It looked like a meteorite falling
Except there were no flames
Just raw air, wind and pressure radiating around them
Autumn twisted and pushed off Lydia
So Lydia still went downward at the same force
The momentum and force still pulled at Autumn
Stronger than she thought
Making her fall as well
She tried going up
But it was hard, the pressure at her
But she trudged through it
...
Soon she was floating
Panting heavily as she watched Lydia fall
LEO'S POV
He was there panting
Damian was just In front of him
A few feet ahead, also panting on his knees
Dezmond was on the left of Damian standing
A faint electric Aura around him
Blood was on his lips
"Wow, you sure are strong" Dezmond said
"But how long are you gonna last?!"
He shouted
Suddenly
A giant earth arm tried to crush Leo
Leo dashed to the right
Mid dash Dezmond was already closing in on Leo
Leo tensed and stomped the earth
Causing dust to rise up
Dezmond slowed just Infront the haze
"Huh?"
A hand grabbed his face pulling him in
Leo twisted and threw him towards Damian
THOMAS'S POV
There were small craters all about
Patches of fires around them too at random spots
Thomas was half kneeling while trying to catch his breath
He held his stomach dearly, trying not to cough blood
"Do you see how pointless this is?" Scott tapped his shoulder
Thomas tensed, heart skipping a beat
He was not beside him earlier
"None of this makes sense" Scott says walking pass Thomas
"You three are pathetic" he says calmly
He was now 15 meters away
Scott walked in circles a few times before looking back at Thomas
"You can't even use the key"
"It doesn't matter" Thomas stood up still limping
"You're obviously the team we should beat"
"Hmmmm" Scott nodded "And what if you beat us? What next?"
Thomas stayed silent
"What makes you so sure you win the game?" Scott asked
"That staff obviously means something" he added
"And I'm gonna find out"
Thomas struggles to stand up
"Ugh" he groaned
He flared his hands back again
Before Scott moved something plopped in the middle
Shaking the ground
Heavily
A flat crater formed, dust rising
Scott's eyes widened when he realized who it was
Thomas took advantage
A fireball was thrown at Scott
He side stepped it getting closer
Another was thrown
Scott dodged to the right, this time way closer
Before Thomas could throw the third
He was slap across the face
The next thing he knew he was flying
LYDIA'S POV
When Autumn used crashed into he parachute form
She lost consciousness
She barely felt when the staff disappeared
She was falling at a tremendous speed
Especially when Autumn kicked off her
Her body flapped wildly, the breezed slapping against her body
It didn't take long for her to wake up
The ground was getting very visible
"AAAAGH!" She shouted
On instinct she tried stretching
Getting wider and more square like
Soon
PLOP
Her elongated bones felt ruptured
Her ears rang loudly
There was dust around her
She couldn't see
She started to choke on blood
She was flattened in the crater like a mat
Just then someone called her name
She recognized it instantly
Scott
But it sounded dim beneath all the ringing in her ears
She could feel her body slowly going back to normal
LEO'S POV
After he threw Dezmond something landed with a heavy thud
Leo walked over to look
It was the staff in a small crater
He picked it up
He looked in the sky
No one.
He looked back at the staff
Leo barely remembered he was fighting
Suddenlt
Earth formed around his legs
When he looked up Dezmond was there
An evil smirk, blood from his nose
His hand wide apart electricity flaring
Dezmond clamped his hand on Leo's head
Electricity surged through him
"Aaaaaaaaaaaagh!!" Leo screamed
Dezmond stopped
He watched as Leo fell limp
Smoke rising off his head
Dezmond sighed wiping the blood from his nose
He picked up the staff
Then looked at Damian
"Let's form up on the others" Damian said
"Right"
Autumn's POV
She was slowly descending
Muscles aching from all the momentum she had to withstand
It was taking a lot of mental energy not to pass out and fall
Her arms felt almost dead
Except for the pain there
...
When she finally landed
She fell to her knees
Her eyes twitched
She felt weak, when she turned she saw Thomas walking over limping
"Autumn.." he says "we failed"
Autumn didn't answer
But she accepted it
Thomas sat beside her
"What now?"
Autumn looked at him
Slowly her eyes went from tired to terrified
Neither of them could speak as Autumn felt it too
It was as if the atmosphere changed
They could feel a huge amount of energy
Concentrated at a certain place in front of them
Then a cyan object flew across pretty quickly
Colliding with something
"Yo what the fuck!" A familiar voice shouted
It was Dezmond
"Why won't he stay down"
This time it was less shouting and more talking
They were still mumbling
Autumn looked at Thomas startled
She ran towards the sound of commotion
Thomas followed
She panted while running
Her muscles ached
But she ignored it
Thomas followed behind
When she reached
The place was already empty
No sign of the aura they felt before
She looked around
She heard a sound like a grunt
Leo was flat on his back
Autumn rushed over
Her heart dropped
She knelt beside him
Tears welled her eyes
There was a huge gash in Leo's forehead
Bleeding nonstop
"Leo- Leo!"her voice cracked
She grabbed his face with shaking hands
"Stay awake, stay awake!" She begged
Leo looked at her briefly
Leo squeezed her hands
He groaned softly
Before his eyes rolled back
"No!"
"What is it?" Thomas asked
He saw Autumn slumped over Leo crying
A pit opened in his stomach
He clenched his fist
