Lucien felt the familiar ice flowing through his throat down to his insides, cooling all the burns.
"Do you still love me bird?" He suddenly asked Elise who paused to look at him, her green eyes glowing in the dark.
"Do you love me?" She asked back placing her hands on his cheek as her thumb brushed his cheeks gently.
"What do you think?" Lucien asked to see her pause her lips.
"You cannot defeat him tomorrow Lucien. But I have another solution for you." Elise said gently.
"We have to soul bound again. And I'm not saying this because it's wh..." A low growl slipped from his throat, and he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her down onto him, ignoring the slight pain in his body.
Their mouths crashed together in a desperate, devouring kiss. Elise moaned softly into his mouth as his large hands roamed down her back, gripping her hips possessively.
Oh how she missed him...
