The entire lounge turned dead silent having only the harsh pants from Lucien who just devoured the beast, and Elise's lifeless body on the floor. His claws retracted violently into his hands, fresh blood still dripping from it.
The sound of heels clicked against the floor immediately in hurried steps, pausing midway,
"Is she dead?" Gwen watched Elise's body on the floor in horror and disgust. The girl looked even more disgusting while dead. Luciens eyes shifted to his bird and his wolf screamed in agony.
"Mate?" His wolf cried in his head.
"IS THAT OUR MATE? Why's she covered in blood?"
"I warned you! I spoke to you a thousand times but you kept shutting me out you idiot!" The voice echoed deep within him, broken and furious.
'You did this. I told you...' he accused.
'I told you she was ours.' It screamed.
