"Master Lucien asked to cancel every plan for the vacation. Did he not tell you?" Elise stared at him in confusion. Lucien had said he would go with her why would he cancel last minute?
She walked into his study immediately without knocking, only to be greeted by the most devastating scene before her.
"Elise you're here." Gwen said with a smile standing from the table. She was just about to kiss Lucien before this witch barge in. But she couldn't show she was upset.
"I... I want to talk with master Lucien." Elise said calmly. He had promised her that even though he picked a bride, he would go on the vacation with her. He cannot go back on his words now.
"No one's stopping you Elise. Go ahead and speak to your master." Gwen still maintained her practices smile with ease. She knew Kaila had asked her not to visit Lucien yet, not until Elise is dead but she couldn't wait.
