Chapter 10 - Life, Vomit and Trio's !

The Sky City Military Port was in chaos.

Personnel rushed in every direction as casualty numbers rose at an alarming rate. Survivors clung desperately to life, suspended between breath and death. Every squad was pushing beyond their limits, doing everything possible to reduce losses—even if only by one.

"Shhh! Stop shouting!"

Medic Squad Leader Doc Octo snapped sharply.

"There are patients here."

Professor Sherry froze. "Uh—oh, hello. I wasn't shouting. I was just saying we need more of your squad members outside. Other teams are barely holding on—"

Doc Octo glared at her.

"Do I have four arms and four legs?"

"If anyone becomes free, I'll send them immediately. Until then—leave. And stop yelling."

"Huh? Are you even listening—fu—"

A voice cut through the tension.

"Professor Sherry."

Sherry straightened instantly. "Yes, Commander speaking."

"Don't rush," the commander said calmly. "Everyone is doing what they do best. Just pray for the best."

"…Yes, sir."

A pause.

"Sherry," the commander continued, "take the Mad Dogs with you to cover manpower shortages in battle."

Sherry stiffened. "B-But commander, you said sending them out would turn everything into a total mess. They don't listen to any squad leader—"

"So you want me to deal with them barking in my office?" the commander snapped.

Sherry flinched.

"These fuckers…" the commander muttered.

"I thought Number 001 would be useful in paperwork, but the other two destroyed my sword—my precious sword…"

Inner cry.

"Get them out of the port. Throw them straight into the danger zone. I don't want to see them anymore!"

Sherry sighed. "Okay… okay, commander. I'll handle it."

Ziro opened his eyes.

"Bluhhhhh—!"

"Shit—I can't control—"

Suddenly—

Everyone vomited.

Together.

It was a disgusting scene burned permanently into memory.

"Oh fuck," Ziro groaned. "I never thought I'd see a day where a hundred people vomit at once."

Jamal wiped his mouth. "Man… I'm hungry now."

"…Where are we?" Riya muttered.

She froze.

"…Guys."

"Look outside the window."

Ziro's jaw dropped.

"Holy shit… what the hell is this?"

"Did we transfer into some futuristic isekai world or a magic civilization?"

Jamal's eyes sparkled.

"Hehehe… this is my perfect heaven."

"I always dreamed of a world like this!"

"Hahahaha! Peak science revolution at last!"

"Flying cars—zero-gravity trains—floating buildings—"

"…Is that a flying cow?"

"Humans, fine. BUT A COW?!"

"And what the hell is that?" Jamal squinted. "A bed?"

"Ziro," he gasped, "did you invent this?"

Ziro groaned. "Some idiot probably did."

A mechanical voice spoke.

"Sir, I am at your service. Please insert your devices for confirmation under System Delta."

"…Hmm?"

"YOOOOOO!!!" Jamal screamed.

"High-tech! High-tech human-robo shit?!"

"Is this girl a human robot?! I LOVE THIS—lemme see what's inside—"

BANG!

Jamal flew across the room.

"…Sorry about him," Ziro sighed. "He's a nerd. An insect of science and technology."

"Understandable," the android replied politely.

"Please provide your devices."

"Y-Yes—here."

Confirmed.

"You may call me Ayzo. I will be responsible for Floor One survivors."

"Please follow me to your quarters. You may contact me anytime via your devices."

FUSH—!

The door closed.

"…This house is massive," Ziro muttered.

"Jamal," Riya warned, "put the screwdriver down."

"I'm taking the upper left room!" ziro declared. "You two decide!"

Riya nodded. "I'll take the right one."

"…Which means you're stuck in the middle," Ziro smirked.

Jamal shrugged. "Doesn't matter." After entering the room.

Ziro collapsed onto the bed.

"So warm…"

He hadn't slept properly in days.

The moment his body touched the mattress—

he was gone.

Asleep.

Finally safe.

Riya smiled softly. "I'll shower first."

Jamal nodded. "Same."

They glanced at Ziro.

"…Let's not wake him," Riya whispered. "We all need rest."

Elsewhere—

"Alright," Shishir said, clapping his hands.

"Area secured. All survivors safely transported."

"Let's head to the hall for further instructions."

"…Professor Sherry?"

Before she could speak—

Shishir waved his hands wildly.

"Mad Dogs? NOOO! NO!"

"What?! I didn't even say anything!" Sherry protested.

"I know. Still no."

"…I didn't mention help!"

"I don't need it," Shishir said flatly.

Sherry's eye twitched.

Inner thought:

From one squad leader to another—rejected before opening my mouth.

What the hell… I'm literally helping with manpower.

Assholes.

She exhaled.

"…Fine."

She turned toward three figures lounging nearby.

"Hey. You guys. Can't you listen to other squad leaders just once? Please?"

A female voice replied calmly.

"We never said we wouldn't listen."

"But only our big brother can order us."

The other two shouted together, full of spirit.

"Yeah!"

"Then listen to your big brother when he listens to others," Sherry argued.

"Well," the girl smiled, "our big brother is hasty. The second brother is calm."

"We trust the second brother."

"Yeah!" the other two echoed.

"Then listen to him!"

The brothers crossed their arms.

"We're her brothers," one said. "If she says something, we listen."

She smiled proudly. "Yeah."

Sherry clenched her fists.

"So you listen to your little sister's orders?"

"Nah."

"She's cute," one brother said. "But dumb."

"We don't wanna die following her commands."

Sherry collapsed against the wall.Inner thought -

"Fuck… fuck… fuck…"

These freaks will drive me insane. I don't wanna stay with them anymore. I just wanna go away from this freak's.... Idea!!

She stood abruptly.

"…Oh! Commander just called."

"All of you are assigned to a place only you can go."

"It's a Top-secret mission." Humanity needs heroes like you guy's....

Their eyes lit up.

"OHOOO!"

"Let's go!"

"The world is waiting for us!"

Sherry shoved a map and dimensional bag into their hands.

"Open the gate. Let these—fu—heroes—go through."

Big brother laughed.

"Let's race."

"If you come last, you're gay."

"Hell nah!" Second brother yelled. "You'll be last!"

"I'll go first!" the little sister said.

"No cheating!"

The big brother also went after her.

They were known as—

Mad Trio. Mad Dogs.

Big Brother — 002

Little Sister — 003

Second Brother — 001

Few knew their real names.

"Number 001, wait!" Sherry called.

He turned. "What?" Speak?? Quick??? If I come last you will be at fault!!?

She breathed in. Control.

"You're calmer than the others. If danger arises—don't fight alone."

"Don't take unnecessary risks."

He nodded.

"Professor… we may be mad, but we're not fools."

"I'll check the chip you installed on the way."

"Relax. This is our job."

A voice echoed.

"YO SHITHEAD—YOU'RE GONNA BE GAY SOON!"

Number 001 sighed.

"…This fucking brother of mine."

"I'm off !!"

...
