I immediately delved into work when I got on the plane.
To be honest–A small part of me was glad Evangeline decided not to come along.
It's about time I was more realistic,because imagine if she actually came along.
We'd play the perfect couple and it'll burn my blood dry to have to play the part instead of being the part.
She was going to be a huge distraction and with the likes of Kai and this newly invited trafficker named Zolensky–I couldn't exactly afford having her walking around like she didn't know how much her proximity to me drove me to madness.
Especially not if it puts her into the sights of men like my business partners.
My annual visits to Russia set the tone for the rest of my business year,the deals that are secured there are delicate and strategic.
