After throwing out his final threat, Ōtsutsuki Urashiki's body scattered into dozens of crimson paper cranes and vanished from sight.
"He disappeared?"

"The invader fled. Lord Fifth Hokage won again!"
Far away, Queen Loran, Princess Sara, and the ministers stared blankly for a moment before breaking into stunned voices.
None of them had expected this.
Urashiki had spoken the harshest words—
then made the most cowardly choice.
It was almost embarrassing to watch.
"Trying to run?"
Uchiha Ren smiled coldly.
"Urashiki, do you really think turning into paper cranes is enough to escape Earth?"
"You think far too highly of yourself."
"Time Freeze."
A terrifying fluctuation spread from Ren the moment he raised his right hand.
Six Paths power surged outward at impossible speed, sweeping across the area and displaying the full horror of his strength as the Ten-Tails jinchūriki.
And Urashiki—
who had already transformed into crimson paper cranes—
froze before he could tear through space.
His body locked in place.
Even time around him had stopped.
"Impossible…"
"Why?"
"How can he freeze time?"
"Uchiha Ren… why does he never follow common sense?"
Urashiki's face stiffened inside the frozen transformation. His mind nearly collapsed.
But that was only the beginning.
"Paper Crane Teleportation."
Ren's calm voice sounded again.
Then his body also scattered into dozens of crimson paper cranes and disappeared.
Urashiki went completely numb.
Time Freeze.
Paper Crane Teleportation.
Both were his own proud techniques.
Yet Ren had not only used them—
he had used them better.
Under absolute suppression, there was no suspense.

A deafening impact erupted.
Urashiki, who had just scattered into paper cranes, was violently forced back into his true form and smashed into the ground.
Blood burst from his mouth several times.
His aura weakened sharply.

A few seconds later, they lowered their telescopes and exchanged glances, each seeing the same amazement in the others' eyes.
What else could they say?
The Fifth Hokage was simply overwhelming.
Even if the invader wanted to flee, he could not.
He could only be crushed.
"Uchiha Ren… you…"
Urashiki spat out another mouthful of blood and struggled to stand, his voice shaking.
"Why can you use Time Freeze and Paper Crane Teleportation?"
"That's impossible. Absolutely impossible."
Those were his techniques.
His proud abilities.
And now this Earth-born monster had used both of them with greater force than he could.
That final bit of pride left in Urashiki's heart was torn apart.
"Heh. There's still plenty you don't know."
Ren's lips curved slightly.
"I'll defeat you with the techniques you're proudest of."
"Then I'll kill you."
Of course, he would never tell Urashiki that those abilities came from signing in.
"By the way…"
Ren seemed to remember something and spoke casually.
"Your blue Rinnegan should still be able to evolve into a six-tomoe Rinnegan, right?"
"Hurry up and use it."
"Otherwise, you won't get another chance."
"If you have that golden Rinnegan too, bring it out."
"Monster…"
Urashiki finally snapped.
"You're a damned monster!"
His voice was almost hysterical.
"Why do you know all this?"
"That's impossible!"
When he arrived on Earth, he had been arrogant and full of confidence.
Now every piece of that confidence had been smashed to dust by Uchiha Ren.
"Enough."
Ren's eyes grew cold.
"You can die now."
He sighed lightly.
"You'll become nourishment for the Ten-Tails as well."
