"Something's wrong… I can't even tell how Uchiha Ren is attacking."

At that moment, Urashiki forced down the turmoil in his chest and muttered to himself,

"How can the Fifth Hokage's taijutsu be this strong?"

It made no sense.

As members of the Ōtsutsuki main family, both he and Kinshiki were monsters in close combat.

And yet—

the moment they met Uchiha Ren, that confidence had been crushed flat.

Ren's mastery of taijutsu was clearly on another level entirely. He wasn't just stronger—he was overwhelming Kinshiki from start to finish.

That kind of disparity was hard to accept.

"Damn you…!"

Suddenly, Kinshiki's roar exploded from below.

He surged back out of the crater, killing intent boiling off him in waves.

"Stupid Earthling… you'll pay for this!"

He was furious.

Humiliated.

For Kinshiki, the worst part wasn't just losing—it was the fact that he had been tossed around by a mortal with no room to fight back.

That was what made it unbearable.

"Heh. Kinshiki, is this all you've got?"

Ren hovered in the air and looked down at him with open disdain.

"With taijutsu this poor, you're not even qualified to carry my shoes."

That wasn't mockery for its own sake.

Ren had already stepped fully into the Six Paths realm. His physical combat ability had long since broken into something far beyond the norm.

Kinshiki, for all his brute power, simply wasn't on that level.

"Don't get arrogant!"

Kinshiki's face twisted as he shouted,

"Uchiha Ren—you die here!"

"Kagatsuchi!"

Buzz—

A dense burst of chakra gathered at once.

Kinshiki's Byakugan sharpened, and he thrust out his right hand. Five streams of pink chakra, each shaped like a licking flame, condensed at his fingertips and swelled violently with power.

The next moment—

they tore through the air.

Five crimson beams screamed toward Ren, slicing across the battlefield hard enough to make the air shriek.

"Boring."

Ren didn't dodge.

He didn't even change expression.

He simply clenched his fist and threw a casual punch into empty air.

Crack—

A fracture raced through the atmosphere.

Then came the shock wave.

A mass of violent trembling force surged outward and met Kinshiki's attack head-on.

BOOM!!!

The collision detonated with a roar that shook the sky.

For a single second, the two forces ground against each other—

then the five crimson chakra beams shattered.

Not pushed back.

Not worn down.

Shattered.

The vibration force tore through them like rotten wood.

"How…?"

Kinshiki's mouth twitched sharply.

Once again, his attack had been erased as if it meant nothing.

And that was what drove him closer to the edge.

He could not accept it.

He could not accept being beaten down, outclassed, and crushed by some Earth-born shinobi at every level.

"I don't believe it!"

A streak of madness flashed across Kinshiki's face.

Purple lightning chakra erupted over his entire body.

"Shinra!"

In an instant, he became a bolt of violet lightning and hurled himself straight at Ren with enough force to split mountains.

"Still too weak."

Ren shook his head, almost disappointed.

Honestly, Kinshiki had a problem.

His close-combat skill clearly wasn't enough, yet he kept trying to win through taijutsu alone.

He was throwing himself into a beating.

If Kinshiki knew what Ren was thinking, he might have coughed blood on the spot.

Taijutsu was supposed to be his pride.

And yet in front of Ren, that pride had become worthless.

Bang!!

Another collision rang out.

Kinshiki's lightning-wreathed body slammed into Ren and erupted in a storm of crackling purple energy. The blast rippled across space itself, as if the impact might finally tear Ren apart.

It looked terrifying.

It sounded terrifying.

It achieved nothing.

Ren remained where he was, his body wrapped in Armament Haki, unmoving in the middle of the storm.

That was when something inside Kinshiki finally started to break.

There was no anger left in that moment.

Only the first trace of real despair.

"Enough."

Ren's voice was flat.

"I'm done playing."

"You can die now."

Without warning, he drove his right fist forward.

Boom!!

Six Paths tremor burst out at point-blank range.

The purple lightning chakra around Kinshiki collapsed instantly under the blow.

Then the real impact landed.

From that close, there was nowhere to run.

The vibration force smashed directly into Kinshiki's body, and fine cracks spread across him at once—clear, visible, horrifying.

"Phase Shift!!"

Sensing his body starting to give way, Kinshiki's face drained of color.

Panic flashed through his eyes.

He forced his Byakugan to activate, trying to turn intangible before the shaking force tore him apart.

"Too late, Kinshiki."

Ren didn't look worried in the slightest.

His voice turned cold.

"Time Reversal."

The instant the words left his mouth, the Rinne-Tenseigan flared.

A vast pulse of ocular power crashed down.

And before Kinshiki's disbelieving eyes, his body—already entering an intangible state—was forced backward.

The phasing stopped.

His body returned to solid form.

"No—!"

Kinshiki screamed.

Only now, only at the very edge of death, did he truly understand the gap between himself and Uchiha Ren.

It wasn't a small difference.

It wasn't a close fight tilted by circumstance.

It was the distance between heaven and earth.
